  1. The bike is in Northampton thanks for the advice Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah it's a lovely bike, kind of sad to see it go really. I used it as a commuter bike mostly and it's been a great little work horse Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  3. Hi all, For sale is my GZ 125, it's a great bike but I'm looking to upgrade, I've had it for about 6 months and it's been a really reliable and solid bike. 28000 on the clock Fully MOTD and taxed up to Feb. It's had a new air filter, oil filter, spark plug and brake pads. I'll even throw in the panniers, alarm, locks and sissy bar (all of which I bought after getting the bike.) Asking £900 but will accept sensible offers. I have all the relevant paperwork Any further information just ask away! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  4. I've got a Suzuki GZ that I'm looking to sell, great bike, very comfortable Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  5. Apologies folks, admin feel free to delete this post. I think I'm going to start from scratch, location, mileage etc! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  6. I'd possibly sell it but ideally looking for another cruiser to swap for. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  7. Looking for a similar style bike, cruiser, not too fussed on model, just want something that looks nice and is also a 125 http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161022/461cdb936fcfd1f2eae57b8d8a8cff92.jpg Any offers? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  8. Ok well I've managed to source one but I've had to pay an extortionate amount to get it to me quickly. All sorted
  9. Hi guys! So I've been adding a few little bits to my new GZ125 just to tidy her up a bit. I was in the middle of adding some old school bar end mirrors but had to slide the entire throttle tube and grip off to access a screw in the end of the grip. Long story short, my throttle tube completely broke where the throttle cable attached, its beyond repair for sure! I use this bike as my main form of transport and without it I'm royally stuffed. Are these throttle tubes generic? Whats the odds of being able to pick one up from a bike garage / shop that will fit? I need to pick one up tomorrow so waiting for an online delivery isn't an option and given its quite an old bike (1998) I don't know whats the odds are of finding one locally. Any advice would be great, thanks in advance! MV
  10. Thanks very much for the advice! I have rerouted the throttle cable but I'm still getting sporadic revving when I turn the handlebars, any other ideas that I could try? I've looked at the cable and it seems to be flowing freely enough.
  11. Hi all, I recently bought myself a 1998 Suzuki GZ 125. Its a lovely bike, however due to its age I have committed myself to tidying it up both in appearance and mechanically. I have given it an oil change and new filter, new air filter, new spark plug and new battery. I now would like to add a new exhaust, I have the exhaust but due to the GZ having a 1 piece exhaust system I will more than likely have to cut the downpipe to fit it. Has anyone done this? Is it relatively straightforward? Also, the bike over revs massively when I turn the handlebars to the left, is this a dodgy routed throttle cable? Cheers in advance for any replies MV
