  13.   Anstruther Fish Bar

A Must go fish & chips restaurant.

Probably it will be very busy so you will expect some waiting time.

One of the best F&C in the area. Ideally located halfway between south Fife and St. Andrews on the coastal trail.

Nearby car park although bikers will tend to park by the dock in front of the shops.

As attractions you have the boat trips to the isle of May where you can see the puffins, the fisheries museum or just have a walk to the Anstruther lighthouse.

  17.   Applecross

Not so much the wee village itself but the journey to go in and out.

Personally I prefer to ride from Fort Augustus all the way up the A87, turn right just before Auchtertyre into the A890, left into A896 all the way up to Fearnmore.

Then down the coast on the C1091 to Applecross, a stop at the Applecross Inn (traditional pitstop for bikers).

When ready go back north for a few yards, turn right to C1087. Mandatory stop at Bealach na Ba Viewpoint and admire the view there.

Continue to Tornapress and then either turn right to Fort Augustus / Inverness or turn left to Ullapool via the A832.

You will have one of the best sightseeing in the Scottish west coast.

  18.   The Glen Cafe St Mary's Loch

A must go if in Scotland.

This small restaurant / take-away is one of the most famous place within the biker's community.

In the route between Moffat and Selkirk, the road is one of the ideal routes in the central belt.

  19.   The Royal Deeside Railway

A nice place if you like trains. Or just want a wee break.

There is a 20 min train trip along the river Dee and back.

You can have coffee or tea and browse in the train if in between trips.

Across the A93 you will have the salt sanctuary.
