Joeman 0
My new Mobius action camera arrived yesterday. Not had a chance to take it out on the bike yet, but took it with me when walking the dogs, so once the video is uploaded i'll share a link. Its quite a bit smaller than the Sports DV camera, but its in a plastic, non-waterproof case.Films at 1080p (30fps) or 720p (60fps)Sample footage from dog walk today:
Joeman 0
This is the Mobius next to the Sports DV:And this is how i attached it to the bike:The sun came out (so much for storms and lightening!!) so i took the bike for a nice ride in the sun...............And this is how the camera looked when i got home:F*$K IT!!! - I'm NEVER trusting Chinese sticky tape again - even if it is supplied with the camera!!! No sign of the little bugger..Just hope it recorded over the footage... If someone hand its into the police and they watch the footage, they might ask some questions! Ian_1986 0
Gutted, i don't trust any of this sticky stuff for this type of application. I've even got a strap on my helmet to my drift camera just incase.
Joeman 0
I was pretty impressed with this little camera. Lots of config options. Its configured from the PC using some easy to use software. No messing about with text files.Other review are good too, so I'll probably order a replacement... I'll stick a safety cord on the next one though!!
Chrissb6 0
Bad luck Mate! Just wondering if the mud guard hit it whilst you where on the brakes? It looks a bit tight in there. You might want to back track to some of the braking points on your ride to see if came off around there just a thought.
Tankbag 0
Bad luck dude, I secured mine with sticky pad but I used an extendible key fob thing as a fail safe line to a mirror

I'll measure the clearances before attaching my next one.Already backtracked the whole route, but no sign of it. Amazing the crap you notice at the side of the road whilst looking for a lost camera!! Joeman 0
2?.....looking at producing some 3D footage then Joe?..... Did wonder about that!My aim has always been to have one forward and one rear facing, or one mounted low down on the side to watch the suspension move and the wheel lifting etc. Could make for some exciting footage!
