If you can give only ONE piece of advice to a new Rider, what will it be?

For me: Don’t trust a turn signal from another road user, wait for them to turn in or manoeuvre before you proceed.

There is a world of difference between a cheap jacket & a decent branded one. Particularly in the amount of wind that gets through. Its worth the cost

Learn self restraint. Bad / dangerous decisions are made when emotions are in charge.

Ride for you ....

Ride how you wish to ride.

You don't have to be like the motogp riders,or the so called experts on YouTube .

Being a biker is not what or how you ride ..Its Why you Ride .

With many safety ones covered I’ll offer something different.

a motorbike is a god opportunity to learn some basic mechaniccing skills and it is surprising what you can achieve with the help of people on here.

Polite Think Bike Black Yellow Waistcoat Back Front

Now...

That would look even better with a TMBF logo between the top squary stripe and the neck and another one under the "think bike" :thumb:

Then same Paraphernalia on the front.

If you want to pretend to be a Police Officer just become a PCSO or a Special ... They’ll give you loads of dressing up clothes to wear ...

Have a second one.

Practice as much as you can slow speed control (a desert levelled car park is ideal):

- U-turn

- Figure of 8

- Turn to 90deg from stand still

All in both right and left. :thumb:
