I went from never having sat on a motorcycle to passing my mod1 and mod2 within 5 days. Obviously it all depends on the rider and the testers, but I didn't think it was too bad.

Difference being they weren't bred/killed specifically for petrol (all them years ago lol)

I done my placement at glaxosmithkline last year on a research and development site. There were quite a few engineers in the manufacturing side of operations, although the majority of placement students were scientists or IT.

I currently have a jack Russel, well its the family dog not mine personally. I wouldn't personally trust it with kids as it seems very jealous even when we are feeding tortoise lol. I have a kid on the way and my girlfriend who is currently a nanny is hoping to become a child minder at home. We have been looking at new found lands and St Bernards as they are extremely good looking and are great with kids from other people's experiences (when trained well of course).

Ah yes, I forgot how "cheap" the test is. Fair play if you decide that, doesn't sound like a bad idea. When I done the test on a 125 I just put it in second and accelerated as fast as I could lol.

Hopefully it won't happen again. I don't want this to sound rude, so please don't take it that way. Many people manage the speed fine on a 125 so 600 should be even easier (in theory?) Maybe it's worth practicing that maneuver a bit more, increasing your confidence. I can't see moving to your 125 a wise move. Good luck either way, you will get there in the end!

The quickest way to get it all done in my opinion is an intense course (do theory before hand, but cbt, mod1 and mod2 in one week). I went from never having sat on a motorbike to having an a restricted license in 5 days can't really get quicker then that!

I would say this depends on how much you think your is worth. I would much rather have as long as possible between petrol station visits (even if it means my mpg is slightly worse for a little while).

I use mse and haven't had any issues.

Unlucky fella. I didn't know there was a test centre in uxbrige. I was going to do mine there (whilst at uni) but couldn't find a school nor test centres to use!
