  1. sorry but I disagree you cant guess fuelling! first of all the op would need to know what size jet is already in there then he would need to know what size he is putting in also it might not even need an uprated jet and it could be a needle issue then after that you would need to check the air to fuel ratio which needs to be at 12.5 to 13.3:1 for max power on a bike also if he gets it wrong and it runs lean it can burn a hole in a piston over time! the first step is to get the bike on a dyno to see how it is fuelling and if its lean or rich or neither!
  2. you cant just put a bigger jet in a bike and expect it to be fine needle hight has a lot of affect on the fuelling you cant guess these things they have to be done right otherwise you are pissing in the wind

    indicators

also check the contacts in the bulb holder these are prone to going rusty and no contact
  4. why do you want this specific kit? its only a name you need a bike set up on a dyno by an expert to have it running right you cant just sling a kit in and say its fine! a decent tuner will get the same results from most make of parts you are only probably going to have needles adjusted and possibly bigger jets dont believe the hype that a dynojet kit will give you the best out the bike its actually a decent tuner that will get the best out of it
  5. moved to pitstop!

  11. check out ebay if you only want one to get you from A to B with no fancy bits the tomtom V1 is ideal http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOM-TOM-RIDER ... 500wt_1362
  12. I use a Tomtom rider v1 and find it good enough for what I use it for I also use a program called tyre on the pc which allows you to plan routes and transfer them to the sat nav and it follow that route this can at used with Tomtom or Garmin

    Exhaust

not been pulled once for mine
  19. this is very true and I think this would be a great opportunity for the OP to buy some just some contact cleaner from halfords and any electrical grease will do not sure if halfords would sell it if you already have WD40 use that it will last a few months then when you get chance get some propper stuff and do the job right
  20. personally electrical cleaner followed by a good coat of electrical grease while WD40 is good, it doesn't take long for it to dry out

    Phantom Oil Leak?

Is there any airbox drains in the area?
  22. nothing to worry about its normal if the pads where to be wider you would need more lever travel to operate them and you will get less bite and probably not stop
  23. Yes its worth doing but it wants doing right which means you need dyno time and not someone going by smell
  24. if its not been put on a dyno you wont really know if its running lean and if you are upping the jets it will need setting up on a dyno so its right as you may need to alter needle height too you cant guess these things
  25. The only place I know of are reactive suspension but they aren't close to you Be worth giving them a ring though for a chat they might be able to advise professionally
