  1. yes but no dealers local to me get the closest one to pick it up
  2. then the bike isnt charging the battery when its running!! is it still under warrenty?
  3. so is it draining the battery when stood not running or when you go for a ride?
  4. have you checked the charging system ? is it putting charge in the battery ?
  5. stick around for 5 years and see i can tell you now that the developers of the software are developing a newer version so god knows!! we might not even be using this software by then
  6. Happy birthday mate have a good one
  7. start the bike put the multimeter across the terminals and see what the reading is it should be above 13v on tick over and hold a steady 14is when revved to around 4k
  8. sounds like the bikes not charging the battery have you got a multi meter ? you can easily check if you have one
  9. no worries sounds like its slightly seized too so make sure you clean it all up properly and then use grease on the slides for the caliper
  10. see other post re muscles
  11. i would remove that bolt http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/5011/p1050867x.jpg
  12. that caliper should not be solid!!! it is on slides it has to be with it been a single pot it could be seized up on the pins!! if it was bolted solid only one side of the brake would act on the disc (piston side) as thats the only place it would move
  13. have you tried just sliding the caliper off the pins? the pics arent very clear
  14. yes i know they can go down as well as up but as someone has pointed out they would have to drop 66% for me to loose money!! on paper it sounds like a win win situation really
  15. you might be going through change
  16. why not? you could have put someone straight on what to look out for and educated them a little this reminds me of a guy at work he had his car MOT done then a few weeks later his cam belt snapped and he was kicking off because the MOT place never checked it
  17. why stop there? found it a bit more helpfull yes its a HMRC approved share investment plan and goes through the yorkshire building society
  18. sorry yeah its 2 shares for 1 wheer the company gives us 2 for every 1 we buy up to the value of £20 a month i havent go to the restrictions on selling them yet we can only buy a max of £125 a month and they are kept in a trust if we take them out before 5 years we will have to pay TAX and Ni on tem when we sell them if we keep them in the trust till after the 5 years we dont pay nothing on them if we decide to sell them
  19. so the shares went down then!! to be honest i can see it just growing and growing as they have their hand in everwhere and profit is just getting higher and higher each year No the share price went up, he put in 9k total over the duration of 3 years, at the end of it, he got back 24k. That's 2.6 x the investment back! Here, they guarantee that you'll get back at least what you put in if the market goes south, if that's the case with your workplace, then it's a no lose situation sorry thought you ment 9k a year its also untaxed earnings too not sure if this is that same with them all so would pay less tax per week and if i keep paying in for 5 years then i dont pay TAX or NI on any of it dont think we the same back if it goes south though
  20. also try to tighten it a little too this an also free it off oh and grow some muscles
  21. well the thing with my job is that the worse the market is the more and more people cant afford to run cars etc so use public transport so more profit for the company!!
  22. so the shares went down then!! to be honest i can see it just growing and growing as they have their hand in everwhere and profit is just getting higher and higher each year
  23. soak it in WD40 apply some heat use an impact gun apply more heat and WD40 it will come out just be patient if you do heat it up change the brake fluid once sorted and dont heat it too much you only need to heat it a little
  24. dont look too bad to be honest ive seen worse on an 08 plate bike
  25. are they worth buying? been offered them through the company i work for and im debating wether to or not we have been offered them 2 for 1 so if we bought £10 a month we would actually get £30! any advice welcome
