  1. Yes I figured out it was runners on 3 cylinders after it was running again. I believe dirty spark plug is making it not fire.
  2. Hi. I have a 2003 honda cbr 600 rr. I recently overfilled the oil and it backpressured into the airbox. After having someone clean it, clean the spark plugs and run throttle body cleaner through it, it now runs. Problem is it feels like it's a 250. Really down on power and sound like a v twin instead of a v4. Runs rough.......any ideas. I've been told possible head gasket or something
  3. Was doing it before the service. Had the air and oil filters changed on it. Could possible be the carbs or valves. But really have no idea as I've never touched that before
  4. Recently the bike won't start first time on the button. The exhaust makes a little grunt then the starter just keeps turning over. If I give it a little throttle it usually starts. Any ideas. I've just had it serviced and the plugs were fine
  5. Cheers. Same problem has occurred even after charging the bike. Will order a new regulator/rectifier and see if its that
  6. That was my second thought. Where abouts would it be?
  7. Will try tightening all the connections after battery is charged. Hopefully it's just that
  8. Just got a new battery yesterday. It started and was perfectly fine yesterday. Giving it a charge now to see if it's just the battery but doesn't seem like that would make the dash flick on and off
  9. i have a 2005 cbr 1000 fireblade. i went to start it. i put the keys in and switched it on. the dash does the on procedure (needle up and down and lights). then i press the ignition button and the dash turns off and bike wont start. if you press the ignition switch again a few times the dash does the on procedure again. any ideas???????? thanks
  10. These are on an sv but mine is very similar. Top yoke is flat like this on mine
  11. Like this. I have the naked bandit so it should be very similar
  12. I was thinking clip ons as they are longer than the regular bars so should have clearance (just guessing) I'll probably compromise and just get a different set of straight renthal bars so no changes will need to be made and clearance won't be an issue
  13. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated
  14. I think cable length will be the main issue. Just depends on how the clip ons are positioned I guess
  15. If only I could. Was well on the way to buying a super sport by June. Due to financial issues that happen to come up at the worst time I have to stick to the commuter styling which is Ok but not really a whole lot of fun for country roads for me
