  8. I passed my cbt 2 week ago I brought my jacket second hand only cost £20 for a RST, I got my gloves also RST from ebay under £20, got my helmet from a local shop £70 I think might have been £60 MT thunder 4 or 5 star helmet so not to expensive for a decent helmet. although I also brought my boots from a local shop they cost £70 as well but there are cheaper out there. I did buy so motorbike trousers from my local shop but I hate wearing them way to hot. If you do get some get the ones here you can take out the waterproof lining. Stupid Rules

My work place (builders yard) would be a hse officers dream no ladders optional hi vis top. We do were steel toe capped boots but that's about it my job involves climbing up palettes some times 5 high and the racking in the were house. Im not sure if the 25kg maximum applies to my work place. But on the other hand me and my co works wouldn't have it any other way we accept that if we get hurt its our own fault and we don't need a hse officer to tell us what is safe and what isn't. And as a little bonus were even allowed to smoke in the yard.
