  1. back in the day, the usual mods were: micron exhaust racing reeds big bore kit hotter plug re-jetting the carb (or bigger carb) change the gearing Forgot to mention it does have an expansion exhaust on it, im a noob, what are racing reeds?
  2. I've got a performance Air filter for it at the moment and thinking of boring the engine out, what other mods could i add?
  3. Nice bike, im hoping to upgrade to another 2 stroke 125 next year, possible a honda nsr 125 or a cagiva mito 125 not sure yet, i just won't accept having a 4 stroke now lol
  4. you cant put a price on 2-stroke fun!!! Keep the oil rich, and the wost that will happen is you might burn a piston out... I buy all my two stroke oil from eBay... its lots cheaper than garages... kids these days on 125cc 4-stroke bikes have no idea what they are missing out on Yeh my dad looks after the oil, he's taught me everything else though which is a good experience! I know! My mates are jel of the looks of it i think but moan about the sound until i wizz by them on the dual carriage way haha
  5. That's bike porn to people of a certain age. They were the THE bike to have when I was teenager.. power wheely tastic. Well said!! They Dont make bikes like that anymore... I miss the good old days of 125cc two stroke power bands!! Cheap to fix, great fun to ride... Are you selling or riding it yourself?? Im riding it myself at the moment on a CBT, Im just waiting for the engine to explode as the engine has done 17,500 miles but tbh it sounds fine and easily tops 90 which is even cooler since its under the legal limit! Not that i try thrashing it to much, 2 stroke oil ain't cheap!! Ha
  6. I prefer it to any of the newer 4 strokes bikes that sound like sewing machines I've never heard a sewing machine that sounds like my bike Lol you get me most 4 strokes sound bad unless they have an after market can

  8. That's bike porn to people of a certain age. They were the THE bike to have when I was teenager.. power wheely tastic. How much has it cost to put together? Well it was just bits and bobs, chain etc It also didn't have the original fairing so dad brought some with carbon fibre vinyl so it looks a lot better But all togethor about £300 for repairs, tires, chain, brake caliper, battery, fairing, oil, 2 stroke oil, rear drum brakes, spray paint to make it look better ha and new rear indicators
  9. Me and my dad restored his old Kawasaki 1989/90 AR 125cc 2 Stroke and it beats the shit out of any other of my mates newer 4 strokes, with 9Kw, power band and a custom expansion exhaust
