Ok guys I took on what you said and today completed three runs at slalom and figure of 8. Just got to keep it up and work on U turns now lol. Thx again

I took a mock Mod 1 today and made a right mess of it. The bike is an SV650 or I could use a Bandit 600. Been riding the SV for a while and seem to get on with it. The parts I cannot do are the slalem and figure of 8 and the u turn. I fell off on the u turn but only hurt my pride. The rest of the Mod 1 was all fine. Any advice please. Think Ill go sink a cold beer now

Question, thinking about future tests...........what is the difference between the A2 test and direct access? yes I know I can ride a bigger bike on DA but again I'm thinking of going for a bike with 250 to 350cc. So is there a difference in the tests? -

Well done Jarrod, I too didn't reach the standard first time, but second time I did. Went out and got a YBR 125 and having lots of fun. Hey and im 65, just shows your never too old. Good luck to you and stay safe. -

I'm so glad I read this thread as I went for my CBT on Monday and couldn't finish. Too Dam hot and full face helmet was terrible. And I fell off twice, I do have health issues and breathing is one hence my claustrophobia with the helmet. After reading all this I have decided to wait till the weather cools off and try again. Will even try to borrow a helmet from someone, open face will be so much better. Next time ill do it. Oh and by the way Im 65 years old.
