the paint work leave a lot to be desired. the matt black could get it cleaned up. god knows what the original owners did. 3 owners and only 5,000 miles on the clock. I have all the MOT's so mileage is correct. anyway pictures before and after....

all my jackets have removable linings. my winter one is made by oxford.was summer used but the lime green pattern has faded. so I bought a cheap pair for summer £40 each. £500 or more is a bit much for me to swallow. thanks anyway.

while out on a trip. instead of us carrying our jackets. we put the jacket inside the side cases as you may well know you can't fold these neatly. having put them in will this damage the membrane or what ever? every year I give them a clean and retreat it with Nikwax.

I have one for me and my good lass but they are to bulky. I'm looking for for a light weight roll into bag type. this is the only one that I can find all others have lining. do you guys know of any other? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166198493538?hash=item26b233c162:g:uzcAAOSwHINkm-Mp&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8H4hK6lFnq2PU3gzpO9XkguO6l73t%2FElPyNoZVq%2FtgeJDXd%2Fw%2BKHHyGt%2FmLgVQJvWA9%2Fm3q%2BYpRRG1roYTML77pZ7W7HTeLqhxCdKW%2BPToaBzgOSQnw15M5Gifck%2F8k6Ak6%2B6z%2FOkTcW3J4k9ASsUsG9o6XxSHGYX3bfcbqVqA2NlPSzAFhTYpDBXo5gOg4g6JWFJLxGAN6XEbDSo20XilGRS2aMdllss9gKavp2f4hFCenR7GMoTiCARl%2F7%2F1IyTWSdoQPGWvKtG%2F1X3jmZ%2FOTGg%2B8THShZo8N6I4rjCAH81KMAf%2Fx4X4tF9zxFazC0WQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR9r6p4y8Yg

cheap bike alarm's
johnakay replied to johnakay's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Doesn't the Forza come with an immobiliser as standard? yes but this isn't the bike I ask about immobilizer. I have a new Royal Enfield classic 350 and this why I ask. my insurance said it has a diy one fitted which it hasn't. contacted them just waiting for a reply. -

OK ta. -
has any one fitted those cheap immobilizer /alarms. I've fitted the alarm but not the immobilizer (disconnected) for fear of it cutting the engine out while riding. if so did you have any problems with the immobilizer?? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403755051632?hash=item5e01ad2a70:g:jqwAAOSwDgBiSrjF&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8MQQZDTNmeO8YKEpSRZQhblp5prngMt0dBL9r11FFnG88%2Bzt9g6fUERO%2FeuShUptPqv7jOhW%2FuyR5d4DPiMGSl3ytW7Fcm3mBKeg6c5VTPh8KhRVbL91h7gWZeYod6iZBUYYDouAJL5ZotjVf3qDA8FEa3IC6GOBRdro54PaZtX6GSNAiZ%2FHc3%2FnsXjF2yP%2F%2BZwknwcU%2FQ1LpX20mD4as%2FSxoB3YMX0dC%2BFXILXY%2F36G6stXEYtq33gi972Y6zCJLg7lSyixy0vj7I8HhL2lFPOM82AAMWWaxxD%2FuJ3OXTs8AwD5UQgGUkawd6WoWyW3vQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-SFlpvvYA

well I couldn't get a long with my w800 due to vibrations that got me as well as the seat crushing my nuts against the tank. after taking the little RE classic 350 for a run and felt that better suited for short runs over my local moors. most of my speeds over there is about 50 mph riding two up. no rush to get any where. picking my new bike up next week same as in the picture posted
-
I wonder if this applies to bicycle these can go over 20 mph.

I had but soon sold. it was gutless one of the worst bike I've ever own. to be truthful it was a bag o'shyt. couldn't overtake a little ford fiesta. don't buy it mate.

textile v cordura
johnakay replied to johnakay's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
it’s very old tech that was great at the time. But a £50-£70 motorcycle jacket. Seriously? Take off all the extra costs involved in getting it from China to your hands and you’re buying a £12 garment to trust your skin to. just because I said they tend to be around £50/£70 doesn't mean I'll buy one. my current jacket wife inc is oxford Montreal .it still in good nick. not been worn that much.bought it just before the pandemic so it probably has about 6 continues use. the shoulder flo pattern has faded a bit other than that its still looks new. anyway thanks for the input. -
I'm in a bit of a spot here(wide choices). the reason why is that cordura jackets are 100% water proof according to the adverts. textiles are only shower proof but if water proof spray on it make it more water proof but not 100%. a lot of cordura jackets on ebay tend to cost around £50/£70. I don't think I've ever had Cordura jackets mostly Textiles. have any of you worn a cordura and are they really 100% waterproof.?

johnakay replied to Mississippi Bullfrog's topic in Motorbike Textiles Reviews
on Oxford products what does 1.0,2.0,3.0 mean? better quality or better water proof?
