  1. Can sleep (in beds) up to 4. A1/A14 junction PM me for availability.
  2. Plan to do Wales (all the Tags) either in May or June (may Bank Holiday is a definite possibility). Likewise I've all the Tags routed for weekends except: Scotland and Cornwall (bit far for my old bones!). One of the 'bucket list' plans I have toyed with for years is to fly out to Split (Croatia) and hire a bike from there to explore the north - central area of the country (Krika Falls, etc.). Maybe one day Always up for a run to the Ace or Skeggy and again to meet up with Mikey (Willy Woods?) would be great. Anyone wishing to stop over at my place (A14/A1 Junction) for a night when passing by is most welcome - Can sleep 2 couples (or 3 singles) in beds with room for 1 more camp bed on the floor. Just PM me with dates and I'll let you know whether we will be in or not.
  3. Forgot about T'Dommies that night so, sorry but I won't be there.
  4. Copper plated Alloy (for low manufacture cost). I bought a box (similar to the Ebay find) some years ago and still have most of them. Happy to sell you two of each size for £9.99p a pair (total of £99.90p for the 10 pairs - P&P FREE!) Seriously though - Buy a box!
  5. Re-fill MZ forks and fit to bike. Remove MZ rear suspension (complete), dismantle and start refurbishing. Write up Joining Instructions for the April Sailing Course. Finalise bareboat hire costs for Vancouver 2014 Modify free-standing bedroom unit to fit reduced gap in the spare bedroom. Enjoy a bottle (or two) of red wine.
  6. Maybe the OP is loaded!
  7. If you look at the wiring diagram, the two (unconnected at the mo) wires are in parrallel with the 'Kill' switch so, when 'shorted' the engine will stop. The only way you will be able to do that from the ignition would be to get a four-wire switch. Brakers will have a few available at a couple of quid but.... you may have to order a key! Personally, I'd re-fit the wires back to where they were (or just tape them up and tuck them (safely) away. Then it's ignition to start and ignition off & kill switch to stop (just like your video).
  8. Say 'hi' in the 'newby' section. Should have no problems changing the bearings out (unless they are siezed?).
  9. Put a 'Harley' sticker on it and away you go! But seriously, Alan is close enough (and willing enough) to help. For anyone else with the 'silencer in front of the spindle nut' issue - This can usually be got round by either: a) sitting someone heavy on the bike while you 'crack' the nut (or final torque on re-fit) or, b) put the centre stand on top of a (stable) block and the wheel should drop down enough (with a small weight on the handlebars to lower the front of the bike) to allow access. I would not consider taking off the exhaust (if it is one-peice) due to the 'pain' of fitting it back on again.
  10. At work at the mo so can't 'search google' but there may be a Skyjet Owners Forum somewhere - someone will have a wiring diagram that you could get access to (or advice from the owner). The non-restricted site search details your model and dealerships - have you tried talking with their staff? DO NOT cross connect the two reds and two blacks together without proffesional advice (or a wiring diagram) as this could cause serius damage (even an electrical fire!).
  11. The two (fitted on your 'Honda' switch) MUST be to the starter cct. otherwise you would be unable to start the bike. The other two are the ignition feed. Replace ignition switch with correct type and wire as per the bike wiring diagram.
  12. Where is the 'smilie' for cuddle when you need it? This will have to do Fozzie: Just get out on t'bike and all your troubles will seem meaningless. Chin up and enjoy your real friends (and fellow MTBF bikers).
  13. Hi, If you put your location in your profile, there may be someone close by who could pop round and give you a hand. Also, please introduce yourself in the newby section.
  14. And I though a knackered back was bad... Feel for you mate. Hope you get it sorted soon.
  15. Not another tour of the bus shelters I did not take part in the 'Shelter crew' meetings!
  16. First outing of the year: Fotheringhay Church RAF Wittering Main Gate Folkingham House of Correction Newark Air Museum Sibsey Trader Windmill A great afternoon out - Cold but dry! 200 Mile round trip.
  17. I have a route in mind - takes in a few of the 'Challenge 100' tags. TC/Roy normally have something 'sorted' It rather depends on how much alcohol intake there is on the Friday night!!!
  18. Been done before (by those who cannot be seen to be unique). Baaaaa.
  19. Just be thankful (like we are ) that you are OK - It could have been a lot worse.
  20. We will help.... I'll hold the beer - Neil will advise on position - TC will tell you it's too big - EAB will tell you it is too small - Littlecat will get it lowered for you and Mega (Alan) will adjust the guy-ropes. It will only take us about 2 hours to do (provided it's not raining).
