  1. too drunk...... or too cold? easy to find excuses this time of the year! I can't as the bike is still in the garage without the wheels on, and I'm away from now till then
  2. Anyone heading over to MFN this evening? looking to be a good day outside
  3. Anyone heading over to MFN this eve? Having a crap day at work and want out for a blast afterwards, and MFN is a good ride from mine
  4. brilliant fun, just wish I hadn't arranged bloody babysitting on the sunday
  5. i will be up for it when i get a faster bike......did the ring in my bmw and blew the turbo up on the first lap lol I love hearing about people who just up the boost with no apparant consideration So, what happened Phil? to much redlining and not enough oil?
  6. perhaps we should arrange a TMBF outting sometime next year?
  7. I take it you didn't brake in time for the 50kmh limit then! Likewise, I have broken that speed limit a few times, an indicated 170mph on my 916 and 160mph in the Cossie. Looking forward to seeing what results the 1098s and the new Cossie engine can achieve! My best laps are 8:39 in the Cossie and a P**s Poor 11:20 on the 916. (Its a lot bloody scarier on a bike!) Hopefully I can improve both on my next visits! There's a speed limit? hehe.. yes.. and every time, without failure, I've been bollocked for doing so I can understand why tho, because you really need to get on the brakes quite hard after that sign.. lol 11:20 is a tad on the slow-side.... trafic issues or "grip" issues? 8:39 is much more respectable I'm definately wanting to try the bike route, but I really doubt I'll get anywhere faster than 10 minutes... I think I'd crap myself One question tho... on the carousel... that's some seriously bumpy surface. On bikes is it best to aim for the flat stuff at the top and cruise the corner - or is the carousel "safe" enough?
  8. true... but don't give me too much credit.... there wasn't exactly many moving parts
  9. pleasure me old mukka glad you're sorted, and see you on Sunday
  10. If you want, you can call me (will pm number)
  11. ok yes.. same principal. The rubber bits should stop the main tube from spinning round, as they will grip the inside of the bar. put it all back togehter again. Do the main bolt up till it's finger tight, then give it half a turn with the wrench. now.. insert the tube into the bar and tap it back down. DONT grease it up, else the rubber will slip and you'll be fooked till it dries out. once in, you should be able to tighten the bar-end side of the screw quite a bit, until it becomes very stiff. What you're doing is "clamping" that big bit of rubber together, which forces it to push out sideways against the inside of the handlebar. Once you've "clamped" it enough, the bar-end will be rock-solid in there..
