  1. I have a 98 bandit at the minute and the header pipes have two horizontal joining pipes between them so all the headers are all connected and all heat up pretty much the same. That's what I found when mine was only running on 3 cylinders
  2. Love abit of chancers banter like
  3. Don't have the gixxer anymore buddy had to sell it to help buy a house. I'm fixing up an old bandit 600 at the minute Ah, worth it in the end though. Been down to J&L in carlisle saw a few ER6F's think thats what I'm wanting to start on. Yeah the er6f is a good first bike to start on. I took out a er6n and was a decent wee ride
  4. Will do buddy, think I'll give it at least a year before getting a proper super sport like your gixxer though! Don't have the gixxer anymore buddy had to sell it to help buy a house. I'm fixing up an old bandit 600 at the minute
  5. Give me a shout when you pass mate and we can get out on the bikes
  6. Yeah it was the longest year of my life. Ha don't think it matters how much money you make or how much you pay out your always just skint
  7. That's rough but at least it all worked out for you. I was living with my girlfriend's parents and just needed out. It was really nice of them to let me move in but it wasn't easy
  8. Yeah it's not good having to do it but needs must sometimes. I did go through stages of being like do I really need to buy a house ha
  9. I had to sell my k7 gsxr 600 to fund a house 3 months ago after only having it for 6 months But now managed to pick myself a 1998 bandit for £400. It hadn't moved for 3 years. It was serviced and put in the garage under a cover and when we came along and pull it out the breaks weren't seized rolled freely, fork seals didn't burst and All I did was put fresh fuel in and battery and started right up. Going for mot next week so wish me luck
  10. Yeah i am sure they count now. Rules got changed to allow any 125 not just Chinese ones
  11. Never thought about that. I've gave it a punt so will wait and see what happens and if it fits alright
  12. Need a replacement stator cover do you guys think this is worth a shot? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Enigne-Stator ... SwyQtV2ubz Sold 89 and overall seller has good reviews
  13. I feel your pain being busy trying to buy a house. Hopefully won't be doing it again for a long time. Hopefully with the nicer weather coming people will get abit more excited by it
  14. Has anyone got a bike for this yet? It will be interesting to see what people get
  15. Got it from wemoto like stu advised. Its good there is no charging. As soon as it arrives all get out. Can't wait to get more miles under my belt
  16. That's me just ordered one £48 delivered. Happy with that cause a halfords acid filled battery was £45. Only bad thing is I've got a weekend off nightshift and my plans are ruined
  17. Yeah I'll do that from now on but hopefully it will be seeing loads of use the coming months. Where do you recommend getting a motobatt from stu?
  18. Thanks for the advice stu. I will price up a motobatt for it. Bike has just been sat for a while now but that is my problem at the minute can't get power to the bike. I could bring the battery in the house when not in use. Looking to buy my first house in July time so hopefully one with a garage
  19. Aw dammit. Do you think the battery was just done or do you think the charger had anything to do with it? Don't want to buy a new battery and put it on a charger that will wreak it cause correct me if I'm wrong but the new battery will only charge up to 60 percent when the acid is put in then needs charged to 100 percent
  20. Went to go out on the bike earlier but battery was dead so borrowed a charger of my uncle so get it charged up. I checked the voltage before putting it on the charger and was reading 9.8 after about 2 hours went and disconnected it now its reading 23.2 volts. My question is can this be correct for a 12 volt battery to sit at almost double and is it safe to put back in the bike? I'm so confused
  21. That's me subscribed mate. Will get it watched once the other half goes to bed
  22. I've never tried anything like this but its not as straight forward as I thought. Might just be me being stupid tho
