  1. I know a guy that had constant back pain about 10 years ago and couldnt get a scan for months so his boss paid for him to got across the border to Dublin and it turned out he had cancer in his spine and they operated straight away. If he had been waiting on the NHS he probably would have died and thats not even a joke
  2. Why does life repeatedly kick you in the balls sometimes f**k IT...........
  3. Seriously I did that once to finish a relationship and it kind of back fired! How ??
  4. Had the same problem with people dumping rubbish in the bin store and not putting their bins out when we first moved in to our rented apartment and ended up complaining that much the management company send a guy round the day before the bins are emptied to put them out. Thats the problem with apartments, you get a few lazy c**t's and they ruin it for everybody Thankfully we bought a house and move in this Friday
  5. A jobs a job............. This is why there is so much youth unemployment, everyone complains about polish people coming over and taking jobs but if the young people got of their arse and took what was going the country would be in a better state. When I started work I got £50 a week and accepted that thats what young people got paid but nowaday young people think they're owed something and should start on £20k for doing sweet FA. My cousin went to uni and studied music and geography which to me only leaves busking as a career... he ended up working in a call centre and now works in a removal company but he's never complained and just got on with it. If she isnt prepared to do low paid work as a stop gap until something better comes along then she shouldnt qualify for handouts, i've paid in for about 20 years and if I lost my job tomorrow I wouldnt get a thing because my wife works and she's bitching about 2 weeks work
  6. Good luck with the camper Viki I know a guy that bought one and has spent thousands on top of what he paid for the van and months of labour and its still a load of bits. If I had the money to get one I would buy one tomorrow but it would have to be finished

    Justice?

A few nicked items and a bit of property damage is not the same as endangering the whole country against terrorists, but that's just how I see it. I'm not for one minute comparing what happened to Rennie to matters of national security!quote] Over here they used to burn Orange Lodge halls and Gaelic Football clubs and it wasnt treated as a religious hate crime or something that risked national security. They need to grow a set and start making the punishment harsher instead of tip toeing round these people. If they stopped giving them nice warm rooms wioth TV's and playstations it would be a good start, I know people are going to say jail's not the holiday camp people make it out to be but its still to soft. They should get a sparsly furnished room with a basic bed and matress and three basic meals a day that by the way shouldnt cost more than the meals they give kids in school and access to a library and education.
  8. Its in a really bad place, if everything goes ahead and we get the house im going to refit the bathroom in the coming months so I might swap things round and have the gas burner stuck randomly to the wall for now and then box it in later. Ideally outside would be best.
  9. Anyone know if you can have a gas boiler outside like oil ? I think you have to have direct access to an outside wall and it would be a nightmare getting somewhere thats not going to look crap.
  10. Im in the process of buying a house and im thinking about converting the heating from gas to oil and thought I would see if anyone knew roughly what it would cost ? Its a two bedroom house and it already has raidiators in all of the rooms so its only the boiler that needs swapped and connected to the mains.

    Investments

Well as it happens i'm overdrawn and have zero life savings and no pension apart from a miniscule forces pension. BUT if i did have a significant sum of gold buried in the garden it would be buried alongside guns & ammo. I thought it was only the people over here in NI that had guns and ammo buried in their garden Thankfully we never got around to buying a house which has probably worked out for the better the way things are going at the minute as we would definately be in negative equity by know. This means we have a few pounds in the bank but hopefully we'll get a small house at a good price soon and have a small mortgage.
  12. Nice part of the world that, did you go up into the mournes ?
  13. The riots on the Mainland arent that bad we get them over here on a regular basis In my opinion its small groups of criminals stealing because they can not because they have a political agenda. They should send the army out onto the streets and let them fill their boots and bash a few heads together. No matter what the police do they'll be in the wrong, its about time people stood up to thugs and stop tip toeing around them if you go out onto the street to cause violence you have to expect to receive some back. Its an awful lose for the family of the guy that was shot especially if he didnt open fire at the police first but the armed officers have a difficult high pressure job and mistakes can be made. If he was carrying a gun this should be taken into account as he was armed and capable of commiting murder.
  14. I dont think so it looks mor like a motor cross style with a raised section at the front of the mouth.
  15. Anyone ride with a helmet like the one in this video? "> Was watching this earlier and like the style of the helmet but not sure where I could buy one or if they are even strong enough for road use?
  16. Why do bosses think that in a workforce of 15 they can still get the same amount of work done with 1 person on long term sick and sacking another one (Who is a twat to be fair). The height of a recession and im the closest i've ever been to throwing in the towel and I wish I was joking. Looks like its going to be a couple a valium and of to bed. F**k It
  17. If you have money to spend handguards, good gloves or if you have a load of batteries. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=264171
  18. Keep at it Susieque one thing i've noticed over the years is that people who can bullshit their way through an interview and get the job are most of the time useless twats and the people who are nervous and unsure are usually the people that are honest and probably the best people for the job. f**k It
  19. Doesnt look that bad, it looks it could be twisted back by hand. As Dan has said check everything else over and you could even take a rough measurement of points on the frame but hopefully its only the back end and not the frame thats bent.
  20. Sadly i'll be on holiday and will probably miss this.
  21. Personal choice I think, I would opt for a standard jacket and a hi-vis vest and it will give you the best of both worlds. I've never owned a flourescent jacket but I would be worried that it would fade over time and look really back but for the sake of a few pounds you could change a hi-vis vest more often.
  22. Cheers Dan... The Alpinestar suit looks the business but if I bought an £80 suit the wife would probably hit the feckin roof.
  23. Can anyone recommend a good set of waterproofs? Im was thinking about getting an RST all in one but dont know much about them.
  24. Im surprised you had the wheel down going round that corner Looks like a lot of fun.
