    Oops

Nice. Contemplating one myself, got to sell the 750 first!
  3. GSXS 750 2017. FSH,Extended warranty to 2020,2800 miles. £600 worth of extras - R&G tail tidy, fork and engine sliders, bar ends, tank grips, swing arm bobbins. Evotech hanger and blanking plate. Crash bungs and rad guard. Ixill exhaust. new rear tyre 01/09.(puncture). Suzuki trickle charger. All original parts included. Two keys, full documents. Garaged, immaculate. £5950 ovno.
  4. Got this about 9 weeks ago and done 1600 miles,so time for a review. Purchased off of a work colleague who bought it new,but only did 60 miles in a year and a bit,so had to run-in etc. Good points - Goes well, with a nice airbox growl and burble on the over run. Weight low down,so easy to handle at slow speed and really stable when not! Short wheelbase means it turns really easily and really inspires confidence on the twisty stuff. Seat comfy, big tank (16 litres) and good economy ( 55- 60 mpg ). Excellent lights, mirrors and a nice dash. Suzuki do a scheme where,if you get it serviced at a dealer, the warranty is extended to three years. Bad points - None really, bit if you really want to nit-pick.. As with all most all euro 4 bikes, throttle response can be a little snatchy and can 'search' when around 30 mph. I'm used to it now,but can be cured with a reflash for a couple of hundred,or just ride it fast all the time! Brakes are really good, but lack a bit of inital bite.If I was going to keep the bike for a time,I'd upgrade to braided lines. Would you get another - No,but only because there's so many different bikes I want to try. This is an under-rated bike, which would make an excellent commuter or weekend toy. It's docile under 4k,but comes alive when you spank it! And it begs to be! It also represents excellent VFM. I like it so much,I'm gonna get the 1000 next year. Obligatory pics. Extra's- R&G crash protection,Evotech exhaust hanger/blanking plate,Ixill exhaust.
  5. Did the Bennets course a few weeks ago. Really good, you'll get a lot out of it (but not trail braking). You can ask the instructors in the Q&A sessions tho, they're all from CSS.
  6. I did that course at Brands last week. It's all about technique,so nothing high speed/hairy to worry about,I didn't bother with any 'extra' insurance.(torrential rain all day,no incidents amongst the 20 or so participants) Good day, improved my riding,
  7. Make sure your feet are not splayed out! (did this and failed by clipping the cone, sound familiar?) Tuck your toes in before you move off.
  8. Have to admit I’m more of a super sports bike guy. I bet I end up back with a 600 again lol With your budget,a decent 600 for 2.5k and the rest for insurance?
  9. I've got Roadskin, they do various weight denim for different conditions.(all fully lined)
  10. Saw one of these parked up around the corner from me last week. Photo's don't do it justice,it's a stunning looking machine!
  11. No,perfectly normal behaviour.
  12. Thanks. Chose it cos I think it suits the bike.Chuffed how it sounds, deep burble, loud but not obnoxious(baffles in),pops on the over run and resonable price. Would recommend.
