  1. Looks like Phil and I might be there from about 7. (9/6/10)
  2. blooming heck, Phil's got my crash posted up everywhere! Anyway, thanks for the concern. I got away with just a few bruises and aches. Pride got the worst injury!! We were back on track at Cadders friday and yesterday. Phil and dad had done a great job putting a new fairing on my bike. It may have been nerves after Oulton, but I think I was just a bit chicken at Cadwell to start with. By the last 2 sessions on day 2 (!!!) I think I was back up to speed though.
  3. For rider to pillion (that's all I've used it for so far) Autocom rules. Perfectly clear conversation at 140. And it cuts the iPod when you talk.
  4. Don't know about bike to bike, but for music or rider to pillion Autocoms are absolutely brilliant. My GF and I can converse easily at 140mph (in Germany, obviously).
  5. Update... May be electrical. The battery voltage was dropping below 12V when the engine was revved hard (running total loss system). Seemed to work just fine when hooked up to another bike running. It's getting a new alternator fitted and we'll see what happens... Previously run as a race bike so very unlikely to be restricted!!!! Carbs working just fine.
  6. It's ok Phil. My best attempt only happened when the dodgy carbs on the ZXR suddenly decided to work perfectly halfway up the hill.
  7. Phil didn't crash! result. He'll tell you he did wheelies over the mountain but he's got no proof; "the photographer missed it," apparently.
