  1. Hello all, Can anyone confirm that the orginal calipers are Tokico for the abov cheers
  2. Hello biking friends, 2 questions. 1) How critical to prevent vibration are weighted bar ends? 2) I'm due to be fitting HEL braided hoses to my bandit, and tips or pointers? Cheers
  3. An update peeps, The pilot road 2's won, and so I had them fitted on my bike today for a good price of £240 all in. Even though I took it easy on the way home (15 miles ish) I noticed right away that these tryes are so much better than my old macadams. The feel of them is superb, although I assume that part of this is because the wheels have been balanced also. The tread pattern also looks pretty cool too. Thanks for all the advice, and I,ll update once they're scrubbed in a bit.
  4. Better than Macadam in a million ways So are the Macadams really that bad? I gotta be honest I don't feel to confident on them at high speed or whilst cornering unless the road is very smooth.
  5. lmao jixerman, nice pun, But it's all good, tryes are things you forget about untill they dont work. Any advice on here is worth it over reviews and marketing speak. So far the Pilot road 2's are winning.
  6. Thanks for all the advice so far, I assume anything that you've reccomended is goind to be better than Michelin macadam's?

    trye choice

Ok, I need new tryes for a Bandit 1200, I,ve been looking at maybe Bridgestone BT 023, Michelin pilot road or pirelli diablo rosso. Any thoughts or advice as this is my 1st time buying tyres for the bike and will be replacing both at the same time. Cheers
  8. Yea I have a scorpion street extreme can and the stock air filter
  9. I have no ECU on my bike, simple carbs so just the dyno jet stage 1 kit is all I need.
  10. What colour is the clutch fluid in the eye glass? Have you tried bleeding the clutch?
  11. Hi, I wanna dyno jet (I assume stage 1) to my K4 1200 bandit. Anyone know of cost range? also to have K&N filter and carbs balanced etc. cheers
  12. I,ll be trying to go from Bitterne when I can get home from work in time
  13. What a start!! Absolutely superb, proper good racing, so much better than Stoner zooming off and having an easy (ish) win. Watch that Spies, he's cooking on gas!
  14. Cheers for the info, Booked it all today, platinum tickets so get everything and I can park next the tent pitch. Should be a cracking weekend I hope.
  15. Cheers, Yea I gathered camping is about a few hundred yrds away, do you know if you park by your tent pitch?
  16. Hi all, I'm taking my Dad (as a surprise) for the whole weekend including camping. Has anyone been before? Whats it like?, facilities, entertainment etc? I have been to F1 qualifying before so kinda know it a bit but just wondering what to expect for 3 days. Cheers everyone.
  17. Forget what costs more but is reduced etc etc......a £200 lid that fits is better than a £400 lid that doesn't. The fit The fit The fit, essential for comfort and more importantly whats happens if you happen to come off. I have an arai chaser which was a better fit for me than £500 shoei's and AGV's
  18. Yea second that about the fitting, Mine are bigger than normal but everything Italian that I have is bigger including my alpinestars gloves and trousers. As for the waterproofing, if I do get a problem I'll bung on the old porelle drys socks. Walk abilty is more important for me.
  19. Happy new year to you all (bit late I know) After many days of trawling around shops looking for boots, after much debate I settled on a pair of the above boots. Wow, what a comfy pair of boots they are, and good value too. Highly recommended.
  20. I have the Alpinestars 365's Need to give them a bit longer in cold weather to see if they are good enough, in any case they will be better than my summer Pro-sport gloves
  21. Hein Gericke, Infinity and race visors.com do everything I need, and no I'd never buy a lid online. How you gonna know it fits properly?
  22. Yea that's it...the top one. But how does that work? It's in a right pain of a position if you wanna take out ya back lights
  23. No it's not attached to anything except the frame, I had it off the other day when i removed the entire rear surround to sort a number plate bracket. It's odd, just seems like a counterweight but only weighs about a kilo if that
  24. Hello, Sorry cant take a pic unless the whole rear plastic surround is removed, Its just a bit further back from that circle you have drawn. It's not connected to anything except the frame with 2 nuts. It's just solid metal rubber mounted.
