    Hi All Im looking to do my full test i have passed my cbt and theory which are both valid intill march next year. so im looking to get mod1 and 2 done asap. would i be better going for lessons or the DAS route ? im 29. have not been on a bike for around a year. and what sort of questions should i be asking of training schools ? thanks

    i could not find anywhere in worcester who would do mod 1/2 training ? in the end i have had to go with acer training in Gloucester wish i could have found some one more local

    cheers for the replys chris currently well next week starting a few lessons again to get my first big bike well money is not so much of an issue as i intend to do it over a few months/year so will but bits as and when i need them. just wondered if it would be possible to build a hole bike from scratch with bits from the net and local breakers. my dads mate said he would help me if i do get stuck and also said i could have the frame etc.

    a mate of my dads has a frame and subframe for a vfr nc30 has a v5 and a haynes manual do you think if i looked over the net you could build a complete bike up from scratch ? if so how hard would it be ? have some car building experiance well changed a few head gaskets cam belts and other bit but never done anything on a bike but have allways wanted to give it a go cheers

    thanks both have to wait for a couple of weeks before i can get a lesson or 2 in but hoping to have full license by summer this year

    well just got i from my cbt and passed with no probs spoke to the instuctor after he said book up a 2hour lesson have 20mins on the 125cc and then get onto the 500cc and by the end should be ready to do module 1

    it did have E13 and then a number starting with 05 on the strap is this the European marking ?

    to a local motorbike shop, so it does need a kite mark to be uk legal then ?

    hi all sorry if this is a silly question but just starting out just went out to buy a helmet, loved the look of the rst cobra vent, but could not see any uk kite mark on it ? it did have a gold label that said british motorbike sport around it and acu aproved does this mean its to the uk standards ? thanks

    to be honest not really i think it helped me driving a car for about 7 years ?

    wll just got back and passed thats part 1 of 4 done got 50 out of 50 and 69 out of 77 so not a bad result hope the next 3 parts are as easy

    well have my theory booked in for tomorrow morning and the cbt is on the 22nd of this month cant wait to get started on it all will keep this update with my progress

    hi all do you need a valid cbt certificate before you take a theory test ? or can i do the theory then the cbt ?

    sorry to hear about that mate glad the girls will be ok but i did here on the news today that 12 people have hurt themselves bad on the new test ?

    well seems quiet a few are passing 1st time ? wonder if this be the same with the new tests ?

    how many times did it take you to pass your full bike test ? i mean restricted DAS or full DAS tests ?

    this is correct i just got off the phone to the dsa who confirmed it.and module one is valid for as long as you therory is valid.
