  1. I believe that I may have fixed the issue but wont be sure until the test run in a bit as was too wet yesterday. I am comfortable with maintenance and building I just like to get opinions before I do anything, the only thing I hate is removing panels because don't want to break them. What appears to have happened the guy who replaced it last had not adjusted it as a new cable but in the same position the old one was in. Everything was fully adjusted out, bar, bottom and case but the lever inside the case should have been taken of and moved anti clockwise on the teeth.
  2. Apologies, yes when the clutch is fully out and it still wants to move. I did think it was the wrong cable, there is a receipt that states the cable is a 97-00 gsxr cable (I did not buy or install it). It does seem to me that the cable is too long I agree on that front. The bottom adjuster is inside the case rather than the standard external arm, so It will need to be taken apart to get to it. There is literally no bike point, driving it home needed a lot of throttle just to not stall out.
  3. 99 gsxr 600 I have a problem with the clutch, I am pretty sure that the previous owner didn't know anything about bikes but told me replaced the cable. The problem Is the clutch don't work right, the bite point is literally a mm from fully closed. The adjuster nut is fully out and very temperamental, very hard to change gear because it wont click in, battle to get it in neutral and sometimes the bike wants to go on a fully closed clutch. Stopping at lights and the bike almost every time dies like it stalls. What I think it is a very lose clutch cable maybe?
