  1. Hi and welcome.. Depending on your age? 24+? Then out of the 2 you mentioned I'd be more inclined towards the mt07. You will probably soon grow out of the 03 in my opinion. A lot would depend on what you want it for too? Comuting? Weekend toy? Touring? Also maybe depends how big/heavy you are? Lots of variables to think about. If you are a bit worried about something too powerful to start with consider a cheap 2nd hand 500? Lots out there and will recover most of your outlay once you decide to move up to something bigger. 2. I did very similar a few years back when I wanted to learn...I did CBT and rode on a 125 for 12 months before doing my full license. It was invaluable experience and highly recommend taking this route.. As others will no doubt say on here ,I would think very seriously about getting an older honda/Yamaha etc to learn on though. I learnt in a ybr125 custom, and it was a fantastic , reliable bike, which I sold a year later for roughly what I paid for it. Whichever way you go, just enjoy it, best thing I ever did. Regards. Paul
  3. Long time reader but seldom poster here.. As a paramedic and rider myself I know how these things can "hit home"... It sounded like you did an exceptional job under horrendous circumstances, and you should hold close the fact that you gave this poor guy the best chance possible. Like others have said, keep talking to people and make an appointment to see your GP asap.. None of us are robots and we all need help sometimes. Take care Paul
  4. I had a Yamaha ybr custom which was a great reliable machine. Can't recommend them enough. Had it 12 months and only lost about £150 when I traded it. Hope this helps Paul
  5. Yep....to carry a pillion he will need a full licence..so mod1 and mod 2.. Paul
