  1. Ok, that's good news. Didn't know having it in gear would help. Yeah I think I've removed it all. There's tiny metal specs I can feel in the oil residue that'll have to wipe out and rinse with oil before closing her back up. I'm tempted to replace the pads and plates now I know I'm going to have to remove the bolts.
  2. Thanks for the help, the parts been ordered. I've been stressing about this, as it's my only form of transport. So your help really has been perfect. That's exactly it aswell. The very tip of it snapped off. I hope its easy to replace. Have a great day my friend!
  3. Hello all, thank you for reading. I'll start by adding the bike I need help with is a: Kawsaki zzr 600 E 1993 Unfortunately I lowsided around a roundabout. 5mph slide, broke near everything it could, it was unable to ride away so a long push home was needed before I could really look at it. The worst part is my clutch broke. Where the clutch cable connects to the clutch was dented and started to leak engine oil. I've bought a new clutch case but just tried to fit and noticed the clutch pin has snapped inside. I assume clutch pin is the wrong part name (as Google has been unable to help me) so let me describe it. The clutch cable connects to the clutch by a rod on the bottom of the case, as you press the clutch lever it rotates this rod which (I assume) pulls out in this pin that's located dead center of the exposed clutch (only outter case removed). Searching Google shows this pin sometimes with a complete clutch sometimes it's shown as part of the gear box. I'm jobless atm so money is tight I can't afford £100 just to replace this tiny peice of metal (and get a whole new clutch or gear box with it). Could anyone help me by telling me what this part is/ part number, and any relevant info I might need for taking it all apart to get to how it mounts.. I'm very new to fixing motorbikes, but extremely keen to learn more. (I've watch countless videos on YouTube on clutch replacements but they only talk about replacing clutch pads and plates, not this center pin. Thanks again. P.s. for your curiosity the other things that broke are my back brake pedal snapped and my front brake lever curled around itself. Not to mention the fairing and mirror damage. Right side slide. Frame sliders will be mounted soon.
