  4. Haynes manual and vacuum gauges (40quidish), also check your plugs maybe they are failing at temperature.

  8. Did my direct access in jeans and cat boots with a ski jacket , this was 5 years ago. Now i wear draggin jeans, leathers or textiles. after coming off in leathers a few years ago I know how much damage the road causes, even at slow speed (Shell grip ). Take it easy observe and get decent clobber as soon as you can - BEFORE the sports exhaust and bling
  9. Korben is dead right the insurance is where the bike is most of the time , some companies put a proviso that it HAS to be in a locked garage overnight, if not then youre fine.
  10. well done I did same on my test almost, two lane carriageway and I was stuck behind a old geezer driving about 10mph, wa told to turn left so waited this geezer then PARKS his car on Double yellows and gets out, I was stuck behind him and I was FAILED for it

Brilliant day 300 miles Route was Newcastle - Kielder for coffee, then Bonchester bridge, Hawick, Selkirk , St. Marys loch where we got a tornado fly by followed slowly by a sea king lol, then to Moffat, Peebles , back to selkirk, over to jedburgh and back to newcastle on a68 . Cracking day glorious weather

  17. 1st time car 3rd time DAS on bike. 1st fail for waiting for a lorry to pass beofre i pulled out , I could have madeit apparently - discretion best part of valour my opinion. 2nd fail , causing a bmw z1 to slow , cos he was doing 80 in a 40 .. 3rd time PASS and I skidded on overbanding on emergancy stop

  20. AFter years of wanting a bike and not being allowed by my parents (My uncle wrote off a norton commando uprooting a lampost many years ago). I eventually passed my test i my 30's. As soon as I had passed my parents wanted a go on the back , so I bought my dad a Arai off Ebay for a tenner Hey its only my dad
  21. TCX are the new version of OXTARS , I had OXTARS TCS for 4 years now and theyre like slippers, very comfy and had 1 bad off in them they stood up very well indeed.

    Bit of both , no chicken strips on it at all bit of motorway between newcastle and york but try and get as winding roads as I can as much as poss.

    Not particularly heavy handed , the odd fast acceleration but nothing out the ordinary, the last 014 i had lasted about 5K .

    I have a Bridgestone BT014 on my Gsxr750 K5, ive done approx 1400 miles and im almost down the the TW indicators . ANyone any ideas why this tyre is not lasting?
