  1. I didn’t check this forum prior to the weekend. Shame on me We ventured around Sunday and came across the Devils Punch, south of Farnham. Nice little spot. Loomies is good, been there a few times. Let me know the next ride out.
  2. Hi Ross. Thank you for the invite. The guys are looking to head over to Rykas, but we may also be heading across to loonies. What bike do you have in case we see you...?
  3. My First bike was an R6. Soon went to a Triumph Sprint ST and a few other fast bikes. Now I own a ridiculously fast bike, just because I like them. The most comfortable being the ST. I’ve been riding for 5 years and absolutely love the bike I have now, I to want to open it up on numerous occasions, but alas will have wait for my first track day. (When I say open it up, I mean 1/2 throttle...!) TBH, what I know the bike is capable of, does scare me of venturing close to it. And believe me when I say I have been no where near the bikes potential. I own and ride it purely because I love it, love all SuperSport bikes. My point of view is, if you have the means to own and ride a bike that you really want, there’s nothing wrong with that, just please treat the bike with the respect that it deserves, there are plenty of idiots out there trying to kill us daily.....
  4. How did it go?. I’m not too far away in Fleet, lived around here for just a few years and yet to explore a bit more. Always interested to join any ride outs, and happy to set off from Blackbushe, know it well...
  5. Thank you Smithers. Appreciated.!
  6. Ok ok... Absolutely brilliant, more than I could have hoped. Delivers power smooth and consistently through the range, Gear change also smooth and crisp. And surprisingly light.... After a lot of research and viewing different bikes, I chose the Honda Fireblade 04 to 07, I love the styling, especially combined with the Repsol Graphics. All this being said, with 175bhp I haven’t been anywhere close to the bikes full potential. I love Superbikes, but I don’t race round the streets and generally coast along at more sedate speeds. Only negative points, suspensions seems very hard, and on steady acceleration it appears to ‘pink’ a bit. She only gets Shell or BP ultimate.... It’s also fitted with a Yoshi can and PC3
  7. Last summer I decided to go for it and buy what I’d wanted. Honda CBR1000rr6 Repsol Previous bikes were; BMW F650 R6 5EB ZXR750H1 R1 4PW CBR600F4i Forgot one - Triumph Sprint ST 955 And from my misguided youth, Yamaha FS1E and a Kawasaki AR50 (which was promptly and unofficially modded to an 80cc)
