Decided to give up on Amazon for 2022.

We won’t use them. Not about visa it’s about everything else. There are better places to spend our money.

  2. I’m would Rob. I would. It looks fab.
will also follow the link above.
I plan to try to save a bit to make it an opportunity to have a good choice.
I’m also going to work out when I can go get the CD175 from my father in law and work out if I can put it in the back of the Landrover and the restore it.

I sold it. I am now bikeless.
Not going to faff with the story but for right now our two family vehicles are cars and not one car and a bike.
I’ll also need some stuff to change financially to be able to get a bike.

I was feeling pretty grumpy. It is what it needs to be at the moment. It does give me chance though to think about exactly what bike do I want. As a luxury in my life I can be more picky. As a necessary mode of transport less so.
with my Zzr I was getting some tennis Elbow when I rode her. Other than that she was perfect (ish). I might get another one and maybe fit some bar raisers. Only nagging thing is she was quick but I had gotten used to the quick. Would I want a bigger bike.
mot something different completely, maybe a Vstrom or CBF1000.

I know I want some degree of fairing, not necessarily side panels but definitely a screen and nose cone.
many suggestions welcome. Budget tiny everywhere but fantasy land.

  4. Today I had the tank off, filled the rad with coolant, put the new rad cap I bought on. Replaced one of the fuel lines and took for a test spin.
plan is to take it for longer tomorrow.
issue is a litre of coolant vanishes and then my bike over heats. Session with the bike with Fastbob and we thought maybe the knackeredy rad cap meant not pressurising so the coolant boiled and expanded and escaped.

    So what car and budget?

If I get one something like a C1 or ka or something. 1k would be my price range.
I’m going to ride out this grump and hopefully the winter and have a summer of riding and then if the winter season comes and I feel the same take the plunge.

  6. I don’t know really. I don’t feel particularly cross or anything. I think partly there is a little something to sort on the new bike which has gotten in the way of getting to know it and love it. Just the whole hassle since really. Insurance company have still not even offered a settlement. Stacking up to feel more hassle really.
I think I will like my new bike but I loved my old one.

  7. I’m thinking of getting a little car to have as well as the motorbike. Having my previous bike nicked has somewhat taken the shine off it all for me. I’ve spent the last four winters thoroughly enjoying riding whatever the weather and not given it a thought. Somehow now I am just thinking about the discomfort :-(

  8. I used to commute south Brum to Rugby. 35 miles each way ish on A roads on a 125. I enjoyed it but after a few months craved being allowed on motorways to make it quicker and to have a quicker bike. It was enough my 125 but I wanted more.

if not e I would go a and I would avoid Chinese 125/s

  9. We can probably manage for a week or so with the Landy for the school run and shopping. My bike will do tomorrow and then I shall need fuel to be able to go to work.
wondering when I will need to use my nhs badge to get some.
