  1. Hi Everyone So been having issues with my bike for around 2 months. It is a KTM DUKE 125 (2015) with abs. It started with the bike getting harder and harder to start, so I decided to change all the filters, fresh fuel and oil and added a new spark plug. Didn't help. I then moved onto the ignition coil and battery. Again, didn't help. So, I investigated other things that could be causing it, replaced the regulator/rectifier, checked and cleaned all grounds on the bike. Got a voltmeter and did the power checks, checked the charging system, all showing to be fine. It got too a point where I could no longer start the bike, with a code showing up on screen (JG 1.7.7) ECU not enough voltage. So off it went to KTM. 3 Weeks later after chasing and chasing the only thing they could say needed doing was valve clearances. They did this, an engine warning light also came on that said lambda sensor. Tried a new one. I got to the point where I stopped hearing from them so said I wanted the bike back. The day I went to pick it up the technician told me that he noticed the bike would start when the stator wasn’t plugged into the regulator. That was the part recommended to change. So, I did. Changed the stator, yep again no difference at all. Am I missing something? Wiring? Or is this wanting a new ECU? I’ve been through the wiring diagram and can’t see why the stator being unplugged would cause this Anyone seen this before?? Thanks Chris
