  1. Had a layer of ice on my bike cover this morning, tried my winter gloves and they didn't do much. I've been dreading this day.
  2. Is it really that naive? Every single thing around us is designed to invoke some kind of reaction or emotion. As humans we judge things by colour, shape, sound size etc. Everything is designed to get some kind of reaction from us, we are influenced by this every day of our lives and as humans we are conditioned to react a certain way to certain things. The same goes for bikes. Each and every one is designed with a specific audience in mind and they are all designed to get some kind of reaction out of you, so is it really that unbelievable that some people can associate certain personality traits to one? You have a coal bucket?
  3. Was chatting about this with a friend of mine.. He describes his CBR600 Leyla as being like an unforgiving woman who commands respect at all times and his CBR125 is "like that fun friend you meet on a summer holiday and then never speak to again". Does anybody else see a personality in their bike?
  4. Must be nice being able to get both feet flat on the floor, wish I could do that
  5. speaking of gloves, i need to get me some better winter gloves, and heated grips. My bike came with heated grips.. They stopped working just before the cold hit
  6. 2 attempts On my first attempt I was on a tall-ish bike and struggled to balance it. After about ten minutes on the thing the instructor made me get on a scooter and wouldn’t let me get back on the geared bike for the rest of the day Went to another instructor who had a much nicer and smaller bike, passed with flying colours
