  1. I had a bearing go on my BMW GS at 8000 miles. Owned from new and mollycoddled. Sold it soon after, lost faith in it, cheap bearings being used. Went back to that boring brand I'm used of. Think it's brand jealousy to be honest. Over 45 bikes owned now.
  2. Has anyone bought petrol tank from India. Ebay. Any good. TIA
  3. I've had two DR125'S in the past. Great robust little bikes that I would recommend but slow as feck. I'd go for two stroke. Easier to maintain. More power. Re-sale value. DT125 KMX125 TS125 That's if you can get hold of one. These bikes seem to have cult status nowadays due to people re-living their youth. Prices tend to be high. Good luck.
  4. The big item is a fuel pump for inside the petrol tank. Check ebay for ZFR125 pump. As for the chrome vanadium item I've no idea maybe it's from the Flux Capacitor.

  6. Mind you I reckon the desiger was having an off day when they drew up the plans for the XF. Looks a bit boring. I'd still use one over a BMW though. BMW's reliability isn't as good as it used to be. I've had steering head bearings fail at 10k miles. Never happened to a jap bike.
  7. Nathan Millward used one for a while. Same engine as the DR650 so robust in that department.
  8. Should of been posted monday. Rode to Glencoe, Scotland from South Wales. Snow on the roads but absolutely beautiful. Lots of layers, heated gloves and grips.
  9. Rode my 93 DR650 down to Merzouga North Africa. Camels in the Sahara.
  10. 1980 GT200 X5 in yellow with a set of allspeeds on. Paid about £80 for it! That bike sounded lovely. Looked like this one.
  11. Had around 40 bikes now. Will have to make a list. Second bike was an early Suzuki TS125. I can remember screaming it through the lanes one evening, the poor thing, till it died. Woodruff key on the stator flywheel snapped off. All part of the learning curve!
