  1. I have a Snell chain on my DR650 at the moment (fitted by the previous owner). I have done about 3,000 miles on it and it has got to be the worst chain I've ever come across for stretching. I have an Afam chain and sprockets ready to fit , I don't think it will be too long before I fit them.
  2. pot, kettle , black . Remember that you are a shirt-lifter par excellence

  5. I was a delivery driver in the 80/90's and at one time my patch was the Cotswolds, what I found out was that a lot of famous people live there. I delivered to Willie Carson, Jimmy Hill, George Melly, John Entwistle, Peter Gabriel and Steve Winwood amongst others. Peter Gabriel was a nice guy, he invited me into his house and made me a cup of tea after I'd trudged through the snow to deliver his package. I've also been in Steve Winwood's recording studio at his house while he was doing some stuff with Jim Capaldi, Winwood was a very pleasant guy but Capaldi was very quiet.
  6. This....... I suppose i'll have to wash it now
  7. This one, KTM640 Adventure. The only bike I've had that you could ride around the world straight from the factory without having to mod it in some way. 350 miles to a tank, superb suspension and pretty quick for a single cylinder bike. [/url]
  8. That's bloody awful, if Pete (Extreme) sees that he'll be physically sick
  9. Looks ace to me, I can just see myself blasting along those tracks on the T700
  10. I've seen abanoned villages like that in Catalunya as well, why so many in Spain Pete, is it the lack of work out in the sticks so everyone leaves ?
  11. So it finally stopped raining today so let's get into the garage and find the bike I bought last July but have hardly seen since A bit nippy at first and some frost about but off we go towards the Dorset coast. Somerset levels were still flooded and the roads were shit state but it was good to get out on the T700 before I give it an oil and filter change tomorrow. The roads had dried out on the way home and a tad warmer, there were a few trails I passed but thought better of it and stuck to the tarmac. All told I did 160 miles and this bike just keeps on impressing me more every time i ride it
  12. Tomorrow I will be parked in front of the tv with beer , ready forthe rugby
  13. See the R1200GS there Bob? That one is suffering extensive water damage! Even the clocks! Which takes a bit of doing considering we're less than 40 miles from the only true desert in Western Europe! Bet I could do it
