  1. Feel for you guys. Must be hard for anyone that hasn't got a car than can use at the moment. Stories like yours make me realise how easy I have it right now
  2. Thank you, I'll take a look at this before and after I clean the bike and see if I can spot anything. What would the best course of action be if this is the problem? Is it an easy fix? Or am I gonna die trying There probably isn't any problem . The joys of Honda ownership. Good luck, sure it's probably nothing to worry about once you've cleaned it up and checked your oil level
  3. Never watched I’m a Jerry springer man. So how fast do you go fast bob. Well , this time last year I had a GSXR 1100 that I had up to 140 mph a couple of times I think . It's quite hard to see the numbers on a 200 mph speedo when you wear reading glasses . Anyway since I'm knocking on a bit I decided that a change of pace and style was in order so I got myself a Harley Davidson Sportster . It can do about 110 mph but that's not the point . I tend to ride according to the road conditions as speeds ranging from 60 to 80 . In actual fact I rarely look at the speedo because I'm too immersed in the whole Harley experience . Ahhh Bob you took the bait. Disappointed in you.
  4. Still waiting for deliveries but as soon as my special items arrive i will be on it A replacement Chrome Vanadium to replace one that fell off your bike?
  5. Thanks for the recommendation, @FallingDown I did not know about the Biker Down course, just subscribed to their facebook page to get updates when they are next in the area. Thanks! You're welcome. The more we can spread the word the more likely someone will be able to help us out should we ever need it.
  6. We dont need data, we're all scientists now
  7. My mate owns a cycle chop. Has never been so busy. There are going to be winners and losers in this but ultimately if they are doing more than the hour a day then they are no better than the bikers out for a ride. The hour walking, running, cycling has been allowed to enable people to stay or get healthy and help with immune system, stress and mental illness. I guess these have been chosen as the three things most people could have access to without having to stray far from home. I'm sure there are open water swimmers that think that should be allowed and many other activities but it isn't. People are starting to get hostile and jealous. I get shitty looks and the w@#ker sign on my drive to work from people out walking their dog, but then that was happening long before Coronavirus
  8. I hope you're doing ok mate, you did everything anyone could have done. My brother and I were in a similar situation ourselves but the poor guys friends were so worried about causing a neck/spine injury they wouldn't let us touch him even though he clearly wasn't breathing. I highly recommend the Biker Down Course. They run them all over the country and its normally given by the fire brigade. It's totally free, guy wouldn't even accept my donation for the tea and biscuits fund. Friendly casual environment, no test etc and you even get a free first aid kit to keep in your bike. They aren't even surprised when you ask to sit in the truck like a 5 year old. They teach you how to manage the scene, move the casualty, helmet removal, CPR as well as practices to keep you safer when you are riding. Could be a bit nuts out there when we can go be out. Be safe everyone
  9. Look up magic potions and spells on eBay. Take a look at the reviews. People are dumb
  10. Dude I almost had you. Could have the same ending
  11. Do I need to worry that someone else on here might believe this????
  12. Mate I can tell you how to get free fuel from ANY petrol station in the country totally legit. Not stealing or breaking any law, just a legal loopholel I learned. I tell every fully paid up (6 months minimum) member of the forum this information TOTALLY FREE.
  13. Wearing s helmet is planning to fail. A real biker would do it wearing only his pants and close his eyes once he gets above 50Mph. I believe in you bro, go for it.
  14. Where I am the technique seems to be if someone wants to get to something on the shelf you are near they tip toe the last few places then stand on one leg which they try to keep as far away as possible, and slowly lean in taking the item between there fingertips. The first half hour where they only let NHS staff in is fine, people will use another aisle or wait at a distance while you get what you want from the shelf and normally I manage to get out before it ends but was shopping for 4 households today due to isolations so I was still there. I'm going about every 10 days to reduce risk but I think it would be safer to go for 25 mins every day. Unfortunately haven't got enough gloves to maintain that. Message is still not getting through to most people. Your shitty stick idea may need adopting
  15. It used to be but as said above. Also they know that they can always makeahite up like we not paying.out because it's a bank holiday and you didnt have suncream in your bag . We not.paying out because you had the right indicator on the left and the left indicator on the right but there universal dont matter . Dont think you get a good time because your your fully comp.compred to tp.f.t they screw you if then can no matter what.. Agreed. As far as I'm concerned insurance is just what you pay to stop being harassed by the police.
  16. Oh ok I just assumed third party was cheaper Yeah I was surprised to find this out but does seem the case. Maybe not for younger folks I'm not sure. Compare the market lets you put in the details once then tweak thinks like cover level and excess to see what works. Also if your job isn't that specific look at your occupation. It can make a big difference.
  17. Are you in America? I though it was only them that gave guns to nutcases. Does explain all the bean cans though. Sounds very cool. Pics? Air guns, CO2 powered, got 3 revolvers, 1 rifle and a pistol/rifle combo This is my sofa range P1020624.JPG and a couple of my revolvers P1020616.JPG P1020608.JPG Very nice. Here's mine. Always fancied a Bodie and Doyle style concealed holster. Not to conceal it, just because I want to be Bodie
  18. Rabbits will, but Guinea Pigs won't. I know that wasn't the question but alot of people that keep a rabbit end up putting GPs in for company
  19. Sainsbury's have got some Nerf guns on sale at the moment, was thinking about getting one myself which are even safer to use than my current guns What if you soaked the nerf projectiles in petrol and tape a lighter to the end of the nerf gun? British innovation at its finest
  20. How is it me riding my bike solo as one a day exercise any different than my neighbour cycling? If anything people cycling are more exposed. INB4 fuel - well I use app anyway and pay at the pump. Note I do stay at home now and don't ride the bike. But my question is about the written rules - are there any rules written by the UK government about motorcycling now specifically? Again...... If you say you're not planning to ride in Brecon you're gonna get me kicked off this forum

  22. I'm only on a the 125 still on l plates but I love the long rides You'd be welcome to tag along with my little group sometime. We are on cruisers so can keep it at a 125 pace. We've all been learners and know the importance of riding within your limits. I'm useless with the directions but my brother gets us to all the good roads. Breakfast, coffee and cake feature quite heavily on our rides.
