  1. Well i've bought my first house and got the keys last Monday. How hard is it to get trades men out? It's killing me doing 10 hours at work then 5 hours on the house. Then the misses is moaning coz I can't be arsed with her lol.
  2. WoW I don't think I'd ride my bike if I had that thought going thro my head at 85mph.
  3. Its not that I don't feel confident as I feel more than capable even though I've nevre even sat on a bike! Its just when you have L plates traffic seems more weary about what your going to do. I think it makes people want to get past you as your a obstruction, rather thananother road user.
  4. You might want to check the legalities of displaying L Plates when you have a full licence, I'm pretty sure its an offence to display them if you hold a full licence for the vehicle that you are driving/riding. The exception to this rule being driving instructors. I think this is where the displaying of P plates for new drivers came from (not sure if this is an option on a bike). Oh right Well then just have to try my best to blend in then But they should really make it an option for people who have just passed there DAS. Or green P's personally I couldn't wait to get mine off. If your not confident enough to go straight on a big bike without them, then maybe DAS isn't for you and you should do A2 instead.
  5. The whole point of DAS is what it says on the tin. Bike size don't matter, I have a friend on a NC30 who rides much faster than most people on the ride out who all have 600's up to 1100's.
  6. I thought I had bad kidneys but it's my back I've f**ked...... f**k it
  7. The FACt is you do have to inform the DVLA. my friend lost all his licences until he did the spot test. Or go down the other route don't tell them. Have a accident then explain well I couldn't see properly I'm blind in one eye. Why didn't you inform us, oh a guy on the forum said I didn't have too.
  8. You do need to inform the DVLA, who will revoke any licence you have until you do the spot test. To see what vision you have. I know this for a FACT. A friend of mine had this done when a piece of metal punctured his eye at work leaving him blind in his left eye.
  9. Same as a car licence, yes. So long as you pass the eyesight test at the beginning of Mod 2, and so long as your eyesight isn't deficient to the point of adversely affecting your judgement of distance such that you are unable to ride safely, and lastly so long as your GP does not advise you to inform DVLA Medical Section (or whatever they call themselves this week). I don't think it is the same, you have to go and do a spot test if you only have vision in one eye.
  10. I'm back from Mexico on the 9th June and looking to get out for first time this yeah, I know shame on me. Anything planned?
  11. I've managed to get down from 19.8 to 17 in 3 months. Im now finding it hard to lose weight even tho I play badminton 3 times a week and eat much better. My doctor did tell me once I have a really heavy bone structure tho.
  12. I drive a Skoda octavia (59) 1.9 tdi. I'm looking far a mini cooper wrx tho.
  13. So depressed, work is shite and am making no money just breaking Evan. ARGHHHHHHH f**k IT!!!
