  1. I believe part of the real was she would not have to attend hearing here in the UK. I'm if you were a half decent human being you would but her actions up to now don't make me believe that's the case.
  2. It's happened recently to people on a Facebook group I'm in.
  3. Hi guys, Something popped up in a group I'm in then this video by Spicy110 emerged. It's about people who have had thier motorcycle license a long time then when they have to send I'm their license for what ever reason the motorcycle entitlement has been removed and unless you have physical proof you passed they refuse to put the entitlement back on and you have to start from scratch! Anyone here heard of or experienced this. Seems mad.
  4. Exactly . Although she will suffer no concequence.
  5. I believe there has been a lot of bargaining going on behind the scenes. She was never going to face any kind of sentence I think the family were told what they were willing to go with and told take that or lump it. The annoying thing is she won't suffer any additional penalty for running away and not taking accountability for years. What she did seems like a genuine accident there was no intent and I've actually driven on the wrong side of the road abroad myself. If she had stayed and faced the concequences with a decent lawyer she probably would have got what she will get now but without the years of heartbreak she caused Harry's family. That's the sad part that she was a coward and hid behind her husbands credentials putting that family through further hell while they were dealing with the loss of thier son.
  6. Same here. I got to the centre to do my mod 2 and my CBT had run out 4 days before. My school said it was thier fault they should of checked and covered the cost .
  7. I've passed my test but a question came up elsewhere and searched but couldn't find an answer. If ABS kicks in on emergency stop on mod 1 is that a fail ?
  8. That's the issue I'm finding, anything that might fit seems to be way expensive.
  9. Lol...been in the same situation my whole adult life for the last 24 years my weight has yo yo'ed anywhere between 15 and 20st.
  10. This is a call to the larger riders out there. What jackets are you wearing that fit well ? I'm 6ft and 19st a lot of that weight on my gut. I've tried a couple of jackets on but once I find one that fits my stomach the rest is just too big, baggy, long arms and armor not where it should be and the jacket is long and looks odd. I'm hoping to get along to the new Superbikeshop soon but wondered before hand if there are any makes that people recommend. Cheers.
  11. A quick look at the specs it seems to be very similar to the grom? Think they've used the same engine, wheels , forks suspension etc.
  12. Don't know if this channel is any good. Saying that. When you do your Mod 2 training I would imagine the training school will be taking you round known test routes and area.
  13. I drive a fair bit for my job and damn this list is bang on !
  14. Looks like CE now stands for Chinese Export.
  15. Well done ! My first mod 2 got cancelled when we got to the test centre and found my cbt had run out The upside was I seemed to have done all my worrying , when I came to actually do it I felt surprisingly calm
  16. So I'm guessing my cbt and a letter from my mum saying I ride good won't cut it
  17. The HGV line is strange has a much more up and down rhythm.
  18. Don't sweat it. I was 49 when I did my first cbt. 6 of us there I was by far the slowest learner got to the end and the guy said he didn't feel I was quite where I needed to be, I kept stalling all the time and my slow control was not great, so to come back, I was pretty gutted but went back three days later had just a hour or so 1 to 1 and it just clicked. Keep at it, it will come
  19. Have you tried these guys ? Might be worth a ring. https://www.tempcover.com/temporary-motorbike-insurance/learner-motorbike-insurance
  20. Don't forget vintage flying googles
  21. Yeah, perhaps it's time to just take a deep breath and take the plunge. I treated myself to tools and the Haynes manual for Xmas , also I've just has to shell £££ out on my car so canr really afford that kind of outlay on the bike the moment .
