  1. Thanks for your views People... Appreciate it...
  2. Hi People, I am coming to the end of my PCP deal, and can`t decide if I should get another PCP deal, but, want to change manufacturer, or just to buy a decent second hand bike? Any ideas please? Not much profit off bike, due to getting cheap deal last time.. Looking for a tourer type bike.. Thanks in advance...
  3. Thanks, can understand them not wanting to pay a stupid amount of money for a bike from mine...
  4. Hi People, I was knocked off my motorbike yesterday morning, by a car pulling out in front of me at a junction. No major injuries, bruising etc, was travelling around 20mph due to traffic, thank God.. Car driver has accepted blaim, and his insurance company called and left a voicemail confirming this. Is this normal for other parties insurance to call you? Plus, they offered me one of their motorbikes, free, until mine was fixed? I have been offered one from my insurance company, but, I guess they would charge the third party involved? Should I accept the offer from other insurance, getting written conformation I will not be charged? And would I need to tell my company about this? Thanks in advance..
  5. Ha ha.. yes I`m afraid so... Last two times I have used it .. it has worked!! How long for... who knows?
  6. Hi Both, I have tried linking to the phone first, then the bike and several other ways, no result with any.. I use the Satnav off the BMW App on my phone which works perfectly... Cardo sent two emails, one to do a different download to the one on their app, then two days later, one telling me to remove all connectyions through Cardo and do factory reset.. still no good!... Ps anyone wanna buy a Cardo 4+?................haha
  7. Hi, I bought a Cardo Plus 4 unit, about 9 months ago, due to covid, not used anywhere near how much I expected/wanted.. but, I have a problem with it,,,, I have a BMW xr900 te, and I can`t get it to work properly. Music plays for half hour then turns off and won`t play again, then the Sat Nav voice commands stop.. phone seems to keep working ok. I know there has been a few problems with TFT dash on new BeeEmms, but, have spoken to Cardo, emailed, and tried both ways they said to fix problem... still no good... Anybody got any ideas please? Most grateful if yes, Thanks, Paul.
  8. Hi People, Just out of interest I called a couple of other BMW dealers, to see how long they reckon for this model, both said around 8 to 10 weeks, so to be fair, including lockdown, its not far off, but, its the `lies`, of its coming at this time, no, this time that has peed me off most.. Thanks for replies
  9. Hi People, Just wanted your thoughts on my dilemma.. Ordered a new BMW, March 14th `20, promised April 21st, obviously Covid said no, then told last week in May, then first two weeks in June, then last two weeks in June, asked what was happening on June 18th, they said it was leaving factory today, on its way to me.Be here for first two weeks in July, got in touch today and its not left factory yet! I emailed back to say about the previous June 18th email, and was told its at the port waiting for a boat. Another two to three week wait!!! What would you do?.. not had any emails unless I contacted them, poor all round... And yes, I`m an old man so BMW suits me.. Thanks
  10. Evening Bikers Want to get something to link up with my phone for sat nav/maps, and music. Scala was first thought but, seeing as I spend most my time on my own riding, apart from Europe trip once a year, with people who use Scala, dont know if its worth spending so much. Or just get a cheaper set of ear phones or similar? Advice welcome.. Thanks
