  1. i failed my mod 2 laast year and retaking this week on a suzuki gt125 , wondered what tips and advice can you offer?
  2. so i fialed mod 2 again , second time , basically im using an old bike with 6 volt bulbs , couled with the sunny weather theyre so very dim. So this is the reason , so whats my best way forwards , i can't keep throwing away 75 pounds and riding the KH125 , so im either buying a new bike or renting? But then im worried i won't be used to it for the test , also really nervous again about this job with navigating.
  3. hey , i am writing on behlaf of a friend who came off his peugeot ludix blaster , bent his front end up a bit , Weve lcoated soem forks for a speedfight 2 , but wil lthey be the same and fit fine?
  4. so very true aha , you nkow thes ethigns take time , ive coem thsi far , surely i'll get there evntually?
  5. he said my indicators were dim , weve tried everything , new bulbs , tried everything , they were jsut shocking orm day one of the bike's life , except form that not too bad.
  6. well i didnt pass , the bike's 6 vault electornics were dim , so he asked me to improvise , which didnt go awesomely well , so bad news , except form that not too bad.
  7. i see , so nt as abd as people made out , also i hear if your running at like 35 when you should be going 40 , you cna fial for going too slow , for example if iturn ontoa road , thats not currently sign posted , i trundle at 30 then say a hundred eyards later see a 40 and accellerate up , will i be ok?
  8. well , he sjut said any really awkward road layouts or roundabouts could catch me out.
  9. hey all , so ive got mod 2 this week , ive been riding 2 years almost myself so can ride a bike , been with an instructor today and he agreed , he couldnt really fault me , but with instructors they make everything seem daunting and it's all what if he brigns you here or there or this happens so iom a little worried now aha , got any tips? thanks
  10. this may seem daft , but the first time i went for my test i really practised on hazrd , passed that and just failed the questions , on the second attempt oi did the oppersite and passed questions and failed haard somehow , i gave myself more time , stepped back , chilled out , didnnt rush into anything with the third , as for me these things turn into an obsession , like today i just failed y mod 1 , took the speedtrap a bit fast and swerved knocking a cone , i dont want to give up , but i dont really want to redo it. soo my tip is , for theory , revise each thing in fair amounts , i came across a site which everyday had 5 sections and in each were 6 questions on different topics thatd change , say section one would be signs , section 2 rules on breaking , i found them remarkably helpful. if you read too much into the hazard as i did , and by the sounds of it youare a little , just keep practising , everyone gets there , its easier said than done saying stay calm but these thngs are sent to try us , best of look on your next test date , then on mod 1 and 2..
  11. hey , sadly i failed my mod 1 today , with one fault , although major thats the only thing , i kncoekd a cone on the speedtrap , but i was doomed form the beginning , i used my Kawasaki Kh125 , and it came up itd have to go down as an A1 light motorcycle unless i can prove otherwise , it's 124 cc , can reach 65mph and the requirements are 120-125 cc , and be able to get to 62 mph. So if it the fact tis only 11mph thats the problem? Also i kep hearing rumours that next year we shall see Mod 1 abolished?
  12. hey , i'm 17 , passed my theory and putting in for mod 1 , so afterwards i can ride a 250 for 2 years. But when it comes to buying a 125 ,, i have my eye on the 93 Suzuki RG125, i just wondered if this fits under all the requirements and would be good to go for on my test. If not , what would be a nice sporty , 125 thatd be well suited for slalems etc. thanks again dale
