Thanks All Iv'e tried the fresh fuel, the carb cleaner and the elbow grease but hasn't worked, so it looks like a total strip down and try the Quicksilver route thanks again and safe riding

Hi All Ive left my XJR full of fuel and its been sitting in the garage since 2012, now as you can imagine the carbs are coated with the residual oil from the petrol. so my question is what would be the best way to clean them? Cheers
