  1. Well this has escalated thanks all
  2. My pipes are very loud, and not cheap either, helpfull comment though, well done
  3. So to clarify, do i want it blocked off? Or do I not lol, having a quick read it saying using blank plates will help prevent popping exhaust, so im assuming I want it free?
  4. Ahh ok, ill do some research on that, thanks man
  5. hi all, i really want my pipes to pop crackle and bang on deceleration, ive seen others that do it... i ride a suzuki intruder 1800 I've got cobra dragsters, but they dont do it. Tried different filters, debaffled, no joy, once my bolt come loose form the exhaust flange which created an air leak, at the header, the bike done it beautifully then. But obviously a lot of heat coming out... so not ideal, any other suggestions on how to achieve this?
  6. Update, ordered a new clutch lever, fitted it today, readjusted top and bottom. Problem solved! Thanks for all the help
  7. My interpretation is that OP has bent the clutch lever towards the bar's as their hand isn't large enough span to reach it? If so with the correct adjustment for slack there is not enough travel on the lever to disengage the clutch and make the bite point to near to the bar. I agree. Usually the free play at the lever is just a few millimetres. If the lever is too far out with the correct adjustment look at installing adjustable levers where you can change the setting of the lever without compromising the operation of the cable. Yes thats what I've done, I cant find any specific adjustable levers for my bike, or are they one size fits all? Went to adjusy it at motor end today, however one of the allen bolts has been rounded (not by me lol) so off to mechanic to get a tap done. Then ill readjust, hopefully it fixes it. Also ordered somes less fat grips and an original lever to reset it all, but on the look out for an adjustable lever
  8. No i melted it to bring it closer, but this was a few weeks back, im trying to find a how to video to adjust cable at motor end to reset it. See if that helps
  9. Hey all, after some advice, I ride an suzuki intruder 1800 When accelerating quickly through 3rd 4th and 5th. The initial part is ok, but then the bike starts gaining revs, without gaining any speed or accelerating more. (If that makes sense) just revs high when throttle open and after a few seconds it seems to catch and pull as you'd expect, I did have to manipulate the clutch lever a few weeks back as it was to far our for my hands, but today is the first time I've noticed it... it does hit the grip when being pulled in, but tweaked the bite point to make it further out, pops into gears fine, im thinking clutch slipping? Any other ideas? Or help, thanks

    Exhaust help

Thanks for the reply, The flames im not fussed about. My mates bike didn't have a power commander. And his pops were insane, only thing he done was take baffles out, so figured that would do it for me to. But guess not.
