  1. Personally, if I can filter (legally) then I filter. I don’t want to be sat in a line of traffic in rush hour with hundreds of irritated car drivers all jostling to get one car ahead. I prefer to sensibly filter to the front, then take off when the lights change. As far as I’m concerned, filtering (properly) is safer than sitting in a queue.
  2. I hadn’t thought about that... am I just getting old? Noooooo!!
  3. Cheers Stu I’ve only ever ridden one for the blood bikes and I found it really comfortable to ride. But then again, I never rode 300 miles a day on it! I think even the most arduous of riders want to get off for a leg stretch after 5 hours
  4. This is so true. I had a VRF a few years back. Everybody used to tell me how comfortable they were to ride, yet mine felt like it was trying to tear my spine out every time I got on it.
  5. As a staunch northerner, nothing would please me more than to tell you my arse is well ‘ard! Unfortunately, it’s nowhere near as ‘ard as the seat on my flipping Africa Twin
  6. Thanks for all your suggestions! I’m really surprised nobody mentioned anything from BMW. And I was sure somebody would bring up Yammy’s FJR!
  7. Now there’s an interesting thought! Thanks for mentioning
  8. I must admit, I do really struggle with the seat on mine! But to be fair, if you sit on ANY bike for long enough, your arse will start to hurt
  9. Morning All! I currently ride a 2019 Africa Twin which is due for renewal this year. With an emphasis on touring (no off-road), what are your recommendations for the ‘comfiest’ touring bikes? Cheers, Paul
