    socket set

I've just brought myself one of those. Great quality (Lifetime guarantee). Almost every tool you'll ever need. I bought one last year. The ratchets seized up within weeks and have been replaced five times. I've had the breaker bar adaptor shear off twice and four sockets shatter. Took it back for the last time on Monday and got a full refund, eventually! Bought myself a Bacho set instead for around the same money. Far superior in quality.

Shame indeed, I used to live in Ashford. If you are still having trouble, pop in to Tagg Racing (just outside Ashford) and see Paul or Jack. I cannot recommend them highly enough

There are different sizes depending on the year of your bike. If it's pre-2004 it will most likely be the smaller 22mm/24mm option.

Where are you based? If you're anywhere in Lancashire, I may be able to help you out if you get stuck
  5. I'm in Blackburn if you want to pop up sometime? Drop me a PM for my moby.
  6. That's one way to fubar the pistons and seals because the pistons won't retract square to the socket - you're only adding pressure to one side. A much better method is to use a drift, such as a piece of tile batten timber, that is larger than the diameter of the piston. Push down on one side of the batten and tap the other with a deadblow mallet.
  7. I had 014s on the R6 and they were terrible! The front ended up like a chisel after less than 1000 miles and the rear squared off in no time. Switched them for Conti Sport Attacks and I'm on the 3rd set of those now and loving every minute of them wet and dry.
  8. Those are the tyres I've not long replaced with Supercorsas. They were fine when new but a bit lacking on feedback. As time wore on they got worse and worse. Shame really, I had them on other bikes and they felt OK throughout their lifespan. I guess they're just not suited to the Sprint and the way I ride it.
  9. Another here for my Supercorsas From Blackburn to Stockport and back last night in pouring rain and gusty winds and they were absolutely planted to the road. Not one skip or squirm and npothing but excellent feedback. It's the first time for years, since I last had Pirellis and on my Thundercat to be precise, that I felt completely at one with the bike in the wet and managed to ride at pretty much dry condition level.
  10. supercorsas awesome in the wet???? really.....there bloody woeful IMO very good rings for hot summer days, can see them squaring off pretty quick unless you use your bike for spirited rides only... I use the bike daily for everything from popping to the shops to visiting clients on site. They've been on for about 1500 miles now and the rear is still perfectly shaped. I'm not exactly a kerb crawler either
  11. I've currently got Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa fitted to the Sprint. They are awesome wet or dry, even felt stable on the icy roads this morning! Much better than the Michelins I had on before.
  12. What pads are you using? The OE discs and cheap aftermarket discs are not designed for HH sintered pads and you should be using GG grade. If you're using HH, this could well be the problem.
  13. I can guarantee that if you buy them, they will arrive direct from India in a hessian sack. With single stiching all over, not a sign of double or treble and the 'CE approved' armour will be pieces of foam.
  14. It is unlikely to be the relay seeing as the other side works fine, more likely a worn switch or bad connection.
  15. Get yourself down to Lidl smartish. This week they have thermal/waterproof leggings and tops. £9.99 leggings and £12.99 tops. They are awesome for the price.
  16. I bought half a dozen cheap ones last year from Lidl. £4.99 each. They do the job as well as any other disc lock.
  17. Depending on my bike situation next summer it's either EU mini-tour (Black Forest, Ardenne, Normandy) on whatever bike I replace the Sprint with or a Scottish Highlands tour on the NC24.

  19. The B version has a reinforced sidewall and is BMW OE. You don't need it unless you have a particularly lard assed bike
  20. Is that a 2 wheeled sport? If not you have some explaining to do
  21. We'll see, depends on finances. The joys of being self-employed and without work
