  1. Yes, and they just recommended the sizes for front Roadrider MKII and rear Cobra Chrome, they didn't answer whether they can be mixed.
  2. Yes, but they are using cobras on the front and back and if I could do that, I would surely do because I have read the cobras are good. But the question is about mixing Roadrider MKII with Cobras.
  3. Looks great And what is your experience with those tires? Grip, handling, mileage?
  4. That may be a good idea. I just though that I would find enough information on the forum and it would be probably quicker than writing to the manufacturer I will write to them and let you know guys what they repiled.
  5. For example, on bikebandit, the 100/90/19 are not recommended.
  6. Because the 100/90/19 front is too wide, I have spoken with others who have this bike and they said that it would not fit well. Also a wider tire on the front might alter the steering. And they perhaps just have an algorithm to recommend tires one size wider and one size thinner than the recommended size, and also they have 3.00/19 as equivalent of 90/90/19.
  7. Hi, I would like to put Cobra Chrome 140/90/15 on the back and Roadrider MKII 90/90/19 on the front on my Virago 535. Is such a mix good/safe?
  8. And what about putting tubes to those tires, which are tubeless? Because Virago 535 tires are spoke wheels and require tubes.
  9. Hi, I was thinking about the Avon Roadrider MK II on the front, because this model has 90/90/19 size. Their conversion chart also says that 3.00/19 is 90/90/19. What do you think about such mix - Cobra Chrome on the rear and Roadrider MK II on the front? Because I have read that putting a wider tire might decrease the performance, and the same I have read about mixing models and right now I have no idea what to think
  10. Hi all, as in the topic, I would like to put Avon Cobra Chrome 140/90/15 76H on my Virago 535, but I have found that the recomended load index is 70 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_XV535 Does the load index of the tire has to be exactly the same or it just has to be greater than the one specified in the technical specs?
  11. And what do you think about mixing Marathon ME888 Ultra on the rear and Metzeler Perfect ME 11 on the front?
  12. And what about putting Metzeler Roadtec on the front with ME888 on the rear? But this is a sport-touring tire and ME888 is a cruiser tire and I dont know if such mix would be good. I had a crash on my old bike, rear lost traction in the middle of a turn and because of that I just want to buy the best tires I can get.
  13. But the problem is that there are very few choices in sizes that fit virago 535, Pirelli MT 66 Route, Dunlop D404, Heidenau K65, but all those are cheaper tires, whereas ME888 is I think of better quality
