    What a Week

Thats a good week at least most the items are from work here is my last week Dog smashed my £1800 smart tv 24Hrs later Lcd went out of warranty Kids dropped both vita and ps3 broke both Oil leaked on motorway And F* a 2 week old bike (new to me) Aprox 6-8k damage in 1 week
  2. They dont know whats up only thas its not rght. They mentioned gasket and pistons but they cost of repair was around 500 and could not guarantee it would resolve the problem. He advised me to buy another engine butthats 1500 inc fitting which is a lot more than i have now ajd in the near future.
  3. Some place in b-ham got the recept somewhere
  4. Is the chain too tight?? Have you checked the coolant level? Something not right... Yes on both Heading up to to jordons now to hopefully get it fixed
  5. Done loads of riding/testing of the bike and its not down to me getting used to the speed. Tested it onthe motorway 5 times and 60-75 mph seems to of lost a bit of pace but nothing major but by god the bike now vibrates like mad. Tank, seat, bars and footpegs all going mental. 0-45 has not improved and still feels slow and hard to get going at times, engine seems louder and hotter but maybe i didnt notice that before. Something new happened yesterday engine went up to 295f and the indicator was flashing likemad and a red light came on
  6. Is there any tests that can be done to check if my engine is damaged? Bike was serviced 2 days before I bought the bike and had an oil change. A few days ago on m62 to Morley and my oil nut ( or whatever it's called) popped off without me knowing and how long it was pouring oil I have no idea. Bike slid across lanes and was Lucky not to fall off. Took it to jordons bikes for a oil change ect they said it was ok. But the bike now feels like it's not right. It's stalled twice, feels like it's lacking power under 45mph, not as much power when coming off the line, exhaust is louder, having to twist harder to get the req power, when taking corner it feel to lack some power when coming out. Any advice would be very nice

    My rights

What are rights regarding this matter On 2 separate occasions I have tried to purchase a game on blockbuster marketplace with 2 different cards and twice it's bee refused but twice they have taken the amount due without sending me the game. Now before I make a fuss in the morning what are my rights? Are they allowed to take this money without my consent after all they said my card has been refused. I will be demanding my £30 back which they stole

    Dogs

We have 2 pedigree Siberian huskys and they are brilliant sometimes I want to trade the kids for 2 more Lol. They howl on command but demand a lot of time and energy but are amazing members of our family and better than buying a crappy iPhone
  11. Congrats Life only goes downhill from now LOL
  12. Pretty sure you can't fool them as they require you to add the bag at the start so that it can compensate the weight of the bag
  13. What technological improvements have there been with passive speakers since the late 1990s and now? My friends TDL (stand mount, don't know the model) and the Mission floorstanders (again don't know the model, cost about £500 about 2001) still sounded great till it was time for them to go or got damaged by the kids. OK, so it is not very high end to audiophiles, but it is to most people. There are many changes to speaker over each model some are slight and other are major just like when fresh models of bikes come out. If they were no different we wouldn't spend the cash cos we all listen before we buy so we are the testers. Lets take my old speakers can't remember the name but they cost £495 in 2001 and they were great and thought they were good enough for me at the time but they broke and although i can get my stuff fixed for free. I bought some kef Q and again they were better than the others but then i got the bug. Moved to the new at the time IQ and WOW they were miles better than the dated Q.Last year i tried the new Q range and they blew me away with there sound quality and they sounded like nothing i have heard before and are still amazing £1600 later. So to answer the question even though it wasn't directed at me over the years speakers have changed a lot just my bikes and cars have
  14. Maan! That sounds really good. Oh! Wait! I'm listening through my £24.99 errr...rubbish?http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z28/Colin_the_bear/nene.gif I can't see the point of 5.1 surround sound. Ok a sub woofer is good and apparently you can't identify the direction of low frequencies. However you only have two ears. I remember doing a blindfolded hearing experiment at School. There's a line around the head where sound direction sounds the same. Doesn't matter if it's in front behind or above. The brain uses other senses to put it in context. The sound card on the pooter has a virtual surround sound effect and I've been out twice to see who was messing with the car till I clicked on. The telly has a similar effect and I rushed upstairs cos I could hear somebody talking in the bedroom. Or maybe the house is haunted or I'm going daft or perhaps all three Never said they were rubbish you did Pointed out that there not my cup of tea
  15. B&W Bowers and wilkins
  16. OH NO You didn't just name drop that company monitor audio
  17. Might test out your theory side by side with some monitor audio and see which is better.
  18. just like colin said You don't always get top quality for top price stuff B&O make some pretty nice looking stuff but it isn't any where near the quality of products you can get elsewhere for less.
  19. LOL, we could argue about this forever!! In my case i don’t even watch many movies, or play much music, so didnt want giant speaker stacks dominating the room. In fact all of my gear is hidden away with nothing on show, with all of the wires routed behind the walls. All that’s on display is the wall hung UE46D8000 TV, which thanks to its frameless design looks like a picture hanging above the contemporary designed wood burning fireplace. So the idea behind the Cambridge Audio speakers is to a achieve a high quality yet discreet installation. With the tiny white speakers mounted in the corners of the room, I doubt most people will even notice they are there - until I switch them on and they listen in amazement to the cinema like surround sound.. I would win The little speakers and sub are nothing new but CA don't make decent speakers imo. There parent company Arcam now thats a company i would buy anything non speakers from they make the best stuff but come at a real high price.
  20. Last gig- Dimmu Borgir Next gig-Behemoth,Machine Head,Hatebreed,Testament,Nile and Dimmu Borgir
  21. Thats a pretty nice setup I have the cd6004 and pm6004 and there both brilliant
  22. "> This is the same as my setup i have the same fronts, mid and sub
  23. Well you see, I'd have to disagree... for the following reasons: For home cinema you really need Surround sound, not just a pair of speakers. you need satellite speakers with separate sub, or you wont be getting the best sound from your home cinema. For your iPod your playing compressed music - no matter what speakers you play the iPod music through, it still wont be "excellent quality", as the encoding used to fit all those tracks onto your tiny iPod throws away a high amount of audio data. For gaming, again you really need surround sound to fully immerse yourself into the game and hear the bad guys creeping up behind you. For just 50quid more, you could have bought the Cambridge Audio Minx S215 5.1 Surround sounds speakers. http://www.richersounds.com/package/speakers/speaker-packages/pah01470 Perfect for home cinema, gaming, and iPod music, and the speakers I have on order (in white so they dont stick out against my white ceiling like a sore thumb! ) for my home cinema Meh CA will never be on the same level as KEF well not in my life time plus its just a basic 5.1 and forgot to add cd player to the list i use a marantez cd6004 with a pm6004.
