You bunch of wusses!! Bugging out for the slightest thing... Anyway on a completely unrelated point I won't be able to make it myself I have to be available for family for the next couple of days. If anyone else goes down enjoy though. Weather is looking ok for it.

Well I will be there... Got a friend who wants to pillion with me. She can borrow all the gear she needs except for gloves. Hoping to find a pair for her... Probably there from about 11ish. See you Sunday QB!!

Gone through some shocking wet weather in Weiss gear and none has let me down yet (2 different jackets and 1 pair of trousers). Worst day was 8 hour advanced training and it rained for about 7 out of the 8 hours. Not a drop of water got in. As Akey said... low cost or good quality you can have one but not both. Find a happy medium... That's what I did with Weiss.

Not sure of my own plans yet for Sunday but they have an open day happening... Lot's of rideouts and up to 40% off on clothing. Going to see if I can find a bargain or two. Downside is that it could be a rainy day. If I am free I will be there at some point unless something goes really pear shaped and it starts snowing. Anyone fancies tagging along, let me know and we can arrange a meeting point.

Spoke to TC last night... Looks like he may be joining us if he drags himself out of bed early enough.

Looking through a couple of other threads I have noticed everyone seems to be suggesting Rutland water is a good place to meet up. Me, Willow and Akey will be there from about 11ish. Weather is looking good. Anyone want to ride down with us from the Derby(ish) area we will probably be at Markeaton McDonalds (DE22 4AA) around 9:15am (Yes Willow 9:15am does exist on a Sunday) so meet us there. We'll be the ones in the bike gear with the bikes. We will be parking up in the South Shore car park at Rutland Water. The more the merrier!!

Weather's looking good up this end. Chance of a light shower at around 10am, but I doubt it's anything to panic about.

Got one myself and it carries a laptop brilliantly... Actually has it's own padded laptop bag to go inside the six pack bag. Comfy when on and spreads the weight well as well... You will forget you are wearing it.

Very true mate... One I am getting at the end of the year is £380 with a paint job, £300, plain colours... Annoying, especially as I am dumb enough to pay it!!

Their testing is improving but I will always go for the same helmet.... The one that fits my head properly. That's the important bit and SHARP can't test that. Saying that though, I have looked up what rating SHARP has given the helmet I will be buying at the end of the year... It's got 5 stars and I am happy about that. TBH though their testing and scores are being looked at by us, the consumers and the helmet manufacturers know that. Because of this there helmets probably are getting safer so it's not a bad thing...

Yep... Seen that one. Plus they have a dark blue one. Wanted to get out... Been an awesome weekend for it and I have done exactly... 0 miles. Met a friend for a coffee on Saturday morning which turned into an all day thing, and had family about today. Ah well. If work calms down a bit this week I might be doing MFN on Wednesday. Unfortunately I don't think it will be.

If we're going at a similar time we could meet up outside and ride up. Plus there's a nice pub round the corner for a spot of lunch. Nman will remember the wasps, no doubt... Or... Easier to find. We could meet at Rutland Water... Fine with either though.
