  1. To everyone on the forum. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r286/clemo_photos/GREETINGS-framed.jpg
  2. Presumably, then, if we ever start eating out of rubbish dumps in this country you'll decide that suddenly politicians stealing your vote, and stealing your money, IS actually bad? You're telling old and vulnerable people who've had their vote stolen by deception, and their money - which they've been paying as tax for decades - stolen, that they should stop their whinging and die with a stiff upper lip because there's someone thousands of miles away that's worse off? Last year there were over 23000 more deaths than usual during that cold winter we had, and you're telling them now to stop whining. That's what i call utter bollocks. Hopefully when you're an old man you'll be forgotten and alone in a cold house every winter. Then you can feel content in the knowledge that somewhere, someone else is more f**ked than you are. What a hero. Well said young fellow.
  3. RANT. This goverment said it would not touch old peoples fuel allowance. They have taken £100 off the the over 80s and £50 off the over 60s. At the same time allowing the gas and electric companys to put the bills up by 20% so the rich fat cats can get richer. Take money off the poor pensioners so they can give it away to a foriegn country we have never heard of. Roll on the next election. Rant over.
  4. Hi. If the bloke knows what he is doing he should be able to wire the indicators via the battery. If he is not capable, take it somewhere else where they know what they are doing.
  5. This bike is in my eyes the best looking retro bike on the market today. When i saw the first pictures of it before it was in the showrooms i said to myself " i'm having one of them". I bought one, and picked it up on the 1st March 2011. I fitted a screen, mud flap to the front mud guard, crash bars, carrier and a top box. The finish of the bike is brilliant with lots of chrome and alloy wheels. Everything on the bike is made of metal except the back of the clocks. The bike goes very nice and for a twin it is very smooth. There is a little bit of vibes at about 3k rpm but after that it feels as smooth as a 4 cylinder bike. I think they must leave a few vibes when they designed it to give it a traditional feel. The riding position is nearly upright, and the seat is very comfortable. I've done lots of long distance rides without the numb bum feeling. This bike will cruise all day at 65 to 80mph. It's only doing about 3.5k rpm at 70 mph. Some people think the suspension is a bit soft, but i think they made it that way as it replicates the way bikes were in the 1960s. I like it soft as i don't use it for racing. I have done nearly 5000 miles on it so far, and would have done more but could not ride for a month due to an operation on my arm. When i stop somewhere when out for a ride it does not take long before i get people stopping to look at it and asking questions. Most popular question is "what make is it" and "what does the W on the tank stand for". The only indication it is a Kawasaki is on the back of the seat and mine is covered nearly by the carrier and top box.It does look like a 1960s Triumph Bonnie at first glance. I have had dozens of bikes but i think this is my favorite bike so far. If you want to know more just PM me and i'll be happy to answer any questions about the bike. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r286/clemo_photos/W800ANDFLOWERS19thmay2011001.jpg http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r286/clemo_photos/W800ANDFLOWERS19thmay2011005.jpg http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r286/clemo_photos/W800ANDFLOWERS19thmay2011007.jpg http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r286/clemo_photos/W800ANDFLOWERS19thmay2011009.jpg
  6. You'll be old yourself one day, if you are lucky. It will come quicker than you think. I've got the memory of an elephant. Now where did i put my glasses and hearing aid ??????????????? Just tripped over my walking stick.
  7. Come on Vicky. Give us our classic section back PLEASE
  8. Where has my classic bike section gone Vicki my dear ????????
  9. Where the Furka is that place.
  10. You should be able to get parts from " David Silver "
  11. Very nice job young man. I think the bike looks really nice but i think the front mudguard should also be black to match the rear one or the other way around. Only my opinion, as the bike would not come from the factory with odd guards.
  12. Hi. Six of us went to the CBG Big Breakfast at the Midway Truckstop at Prees heath and had a good day. Then we went to Iron-Bridge to look around. At the CBG event thousands of bikers turned up with loads of classic bikes and loads of rocket bikes. Here are a few pics i took of the event. Click the HQ button for better pictures. Enjoy. Were you there? ">
  13. They are going to run the Moto GP at Silverstone from 2010 for five years. I think they are making a very big mistake as the viewing is a load of crap. Donnington Park is much better for bikes. If they charge the sort of prices they do for the F1 then they will kill the Moto GP in this country. I would be interested in what people think of this mad plan.
  14. Try this. I watch it here online. http://www.worldsbk.com/pubb_EN/
  15. Found this and thought it might be useful for people who don't know how to do it. http://coolercasesuk.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1211
  16. Hi, all. Myself and a few more on Royal Enfields will be meeting on sunday 13th July at the Bus Station Cafe in Abergaveny [Wales] at 9am for a bacon butty. From there we will be off to the Elan Valley and the mountain road to Aberystwyth. Anyone is welcome to come along with us. Any old or new bikes. The weather looks good for sunday and if you have not been on this road before you are in for a real treat. Have a look. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0qEFtDKO0is
  17. A 4 stroke will be more reliable and do more mpg than a 2 stroke and you ain't got to keep putting expensive 2 stroke oil in it.

    hyosung??

I heard the same comments in the 1960s when the Japs started selling bikes over here. Will not be very long before the chinese overtake the jap sales.
  19. Hi. If you go to Abergaveny on a sat or sunday when the weather is good you will find hundreds of bikers at the cafe in the bus station. Sunday has more bikes than saturday.
  20. SAD NEWS. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/7382036.stm
  21. Go from Rhayader to Aberystwyth via the mountain road. About 35 miles. Best to go one way and come back as the scenery looks completly different on the way back. [ 70 miles ] You've got to take a camera.
  22. Hi. In the week that road is very quiet, but on a sunny weekend it gets quite busy. I try to take my pics when there is no traffic if i can. A few bikes were about so i try to fit those in if i can.
  23. Went for a ride on my Honda Deauville to the mountain road through the Elan Valley. Have to watch out for the sheep on the road. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1289031/a ... _my_honda/
