  1. 70mph for all vehicles up to 3.5t as long as there is a central reservation, unless there is street lights at regular intivals, if this is the case it is 30mph unless there are speed repeater signs stating a different speed. As for age, lets just say just the right side of middle aged
  2. I have friends in the us who need long term medication to keep help prolong there lives to a normal level but with the us system the way it is they have to pick and chose which meds to get, to take the full doses would cost $3-$4,000 per month just on meds so it is a choice of live longer or be able to live while they are here
  3. It started off as a full service and a bit of patching on the faring, the service and carb balance is done so mechanically it is done, now it has ended up as a full respray on the faring so have to do the tank as well, so thort as i am doing that i might as well do the forks and frame and half the engine while i am at it don't like to do things by half
  4. Not too up on small bikes anymore but is it a 2 stroke or 4stroke? If it is a 2stroke then the exhort might be coked up and restricting the air flow out hence reducing the speed, i had it on a bike many moons ago
  5. Signed it when it had about 100 sigs on it really good corse
  6. If it has a manual choke then it is carb, the tick over is a bit high and will not help when you are trying to do slow stuff, there will be an adjuster somewhere to slow it down possibly sticking out just behind where your legs are while you are sat on her, as above if you can get the haynes manual it will help alot
  7. Bikes in bits at the moment so not out for a little bit, but am looking forward to getting out a lot more this year.
  8. as the bike is nearly 10 years old with that few miles on the clock I would do the lot, valve clearences, fluid changes and all, I am in the midle of doing it my self at the mo
  9. Stay heathy Get out on the bike more and do some decent trips Do a charity bike run from lands end to john-O-Grotes in a day see my daughter more get my second bike running MMMMMMM think thats it off the top of my head
  10. Lmao, going to get it running first then strip it down, i love doing things backwards lol
  11. Cool, it is nice to see young people who want to tinker and lern god I am showing my age as above it will have to be a 50cc if you want to ride on your CBT at 16, but an engin is an engin, from when they first came out in ????? to now the basic principal has stayed the same, fule pumped in to a cilinder is set on fire that pushes the piston down and the next piston up! If you have got a year to play you have got time to find a knacker and do it up (obviosly look for one that isnt too bad) but YOU WILL DROP IT as with all lerning you will make mistakes so I personaly would start with a cheap bike and work from there as your experience and ability develop

  13. Are you really sure you want to show your bottom on a thread like this? http://www.sweetslyrics.com/images/img_gal/14971_village_people.jpg I rest my case ... it is getting a bit like that arround here
  14. It will have been well serviced as said above, yes it will have been abused a bit but if you can remember back to your/our test i was realy ginger with the bikes so it should be ok, best thing is to go and look at it, i would never buy any vehicle without looking at it first?

  16. How did a "I'm drunk" thread turn into a "health and drinking" thread? I smoke, drink, eat what I want, listen to what I want, go to bed when I want and get up when I want either early or late, don't work at the mo but hopefully in the new year will sort that out but have grafted all my life so far and have enough medical problems that could potensholy shorten my life. But I enjoy what I do and live life to the full, everyone is entitled to live as they wish, wether we think it is right or wrong that is there choice, as long as they are not physically or mentally hurting anyone else who are we to judge anyone else's life? Sorry rant over
  17. Cheers, i will give it a go after new year when i get a chance
  18. Never been one for the who can drink more competitions, i drink a drink because i enjoy the flavour of it not what it dose to me, yes i drink larger mainly because after running pubs i don't tend to trust other people looking after the bitter I know people that can drink like you wouldn't believe and on the swing side i know others that after 3 pints are on there way home, as long as the company is good then any night can be a good night no matter what the alcohol consumption?
