Guest Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Hi there, I recently acquired a Yamaha. It's registered as being a TZR125 but after some intensive googling of the frame/engine number (4AP-045854) we're fairly certain it's a TZM150. A model which is usually found in Malaysia/Singapore.Having measured the cylinder, it's definitely a 150cc engine. Radius ~3cm, TDC to BDC is ~5.4cmAnyway, the main problem - The oil seal in the water pump needs replacing. Water was getting into the transmission oil through it and emulsifying. I can't find anywhere that does spare parts for the TZM150. Is the seal likely to be standard across the models ? Ie, is it the same as the seal in the TZR125 ?Thanks,Matt. Quote
Guest Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 is the seal an o-ring, cant you measure it and get another..or try Yamaha...? malasia Quote
Guest Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Nah, it wasn't an o-ring. It was quite a big thing and, from what I scraped out, it was reinforced with metal Quote
