Massive Helmets?

Well, as per the recent "Helmet Retailers" thread by my mate Edgey, we went down to J&S in Northwich on friday. I tried on all the XXLs and just couldn't get them on! We got the guy over, he found me one (JUST ONE!) that i could get on, felt a bit tight still, but suppose it should do as its new. Anyways, its a Marushin lid, and the guy told me that they make the biggest lids below £100, he says the only manufacturers to make 3XL, are Shoei.

Is this correct?

BTW, the helmet i found is a Marushin Samura black/blue XXL. I looked for the helmet on the J&S website and it doesnt exist! So i looked on eBay, couldn't find the exact one, but found these, and im not sure if i should risk it or not, they say they wont accept returns for health and safety reasons, and i'm not looking to waste £60-£100.

If anyone has any ideas, please shout out! I have my CBT on saturday (the 7th) and they might not have a helmet that fits i think Which would obviously be devastating.

Vemar and certain AGV helmets fit my 64cm dome.

Nks I'll check them out. I measured my head and it's 64cm too. I supppose I need to find the right shape, I've got quite a round head too.

Thanks Bogof, but i was talking more about risking the waste of money if it arrives and doesnt fit. I cant be arsed driving all the way up to J&S again to buy the exact one lols, would rather buy online, just annoying i can't find the exact one!

My advice would be to

Never buy a helmet without trying it on.
