Hi all,

New to the site, but looks like im going to be more of a Reg as iv just bought my 1st Scooter/Moped

I know im a little late getting on with the whole Moped/Scooter wagon as im now 24, but iv never had reason to get transport up untill now (Worked on familys farm) Now iv gotta get to work so i bought a Scooter

My Scooter - PGO T-Rex 50cc (2003 Reg)

Anyways intro over now to the questions

1) Does the scooter need wing Mirrors? I do have them just one needs putting back on, but if they dont need them i wont bother! Will if Fail? a MOT without them?

2) My light button (The bit you slide up and down to make them work, Seems to be missing, Can i get a replacement for this? Or is it something i can just make a new one, and Still pass the MOT?

And also some other helpfull tips that i may miss, (the little bits most over look) So it passes would be great!

Thank you :D

my Katana passed the MOT with the metal stub for the lights instead of the plastic button, and mirrors don't have to be fitted, but it they are, they must work accordingly, (stay put and be free from damage..) better to have them though, IMO

try ebay for a set of light switches.. and mirrors.
