Hi,

My bike was serviced in March '09, since then it's travelled (despite a 2 month stay in a garage) over a 1000 miles. I was just wondering when you guys would recommend changing stuff like oil, filters, plugs to keep her running. I'm going to be travelling about 250 miles a week on my regular commute to work.

Check your manual, should have the intervals stated, for example oil change every 2000miles.

All bikes have different service intervals. As a general rule, small sumps need changing more frequently than large ones.
