Guest
ps to above. Its never alerted me about mobile radar vans yet but its good for aleting you to fixed radars. I've also done my number plates in the reflective spray paint don't know if it works but thought I would try it.

Will you let me know if you think it works... Dunno how you'll do that, short of whizzing past some camersas... Maybe you should just let me know your opinion... Is it visible to the naked eye? I mean, is it dead obvious you've tinkered with your number plate I once saw an article in one of the bike mags about a company that made "James Bond" number plate holders - they flipped up and down at the flick of a switch.... ingenious.. but a bit dodgy.. Guest
its like a clear laquer sprayed onto the number plate. the plate then has a matt finish, there's crystals in the paint which are supposed to reflect too much light back to the camera and over-expose the image. One large tin was £20 I've done both the cars and bike there's still loads left in the tin, like you say it's hard to find out if it works

Guest
double check that, I don't think it is. Size spacing and colour are the only specifications as far as I know plus they've got to spot it as well
Guest
I'm sure..not gunna get book out that they can not be tampered with to stop photographs or what ever the wording is
Guest
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/flip-plate-r1-r6-gsxr-ducat....em It was similar, but the whole plate went up and down...But imagine the fun you could have with the wording on the model covered in your link

Also was brill when we went to Europe as you can switch to read K.M.H. Radar detector would only pickup hand held mobile camera's not the fixed units though.
