Sport Textiles

Have just got myself a Thundercat and am going to buy some textiles as am going to be riding all year round. I want to get a sporty looking pair, preferably in black. Have tried on the RST rift textiles and they dont seem too bad. Does anyone know of any other good looking sport styled textiles in the £200-£250 region?

Thanks

I have IXS gear, my textile jacket zips to my leather jeans and vica my leather jacket, so it all works nicely, for extreme weather i have some urban camo trousers by JTS, warm, waterprrof the bizness.

and carry some plastic bags, they are a godsend as boot liners in heavy downpours.. and the looks you get putting them on are priceless.......

I wouldn't trade my Alpinstars gear for anything right now. I love it.

I have a T-RC1 and I love love love it. It's comfy, cool, very warm in the cold, protective and stylish. The only single thing I'd change about it would be that I wish I had it in black, not blue. Blue won't match my next bike and the white looks horribly dirty so easily. I will certainly be getting the leather RC-1 jacket soon also.

I also have the Alpinestars Street Cargo Pants. Again, love them. The only thing I don't like is that my jacket will zip to other Alpinstars pants, but not these. I think that was fixed and I got old stock, but they are a little hard to find around here.

Anyway, highly recommended. I also like watching reviews over at SportBikeTrackGear's YouTube page. Some relevant reviews are listed below.

Have been looking at the Furygan stuff which look pretty cool. Tried on the Furygan Ghost the other day and fits nicely and plenty of protection.

Anyone had any experience with Furygan stuff? the textile trousers looked pretty flimsy. Also couldnt find many reviews online, anyone know of a site which has done some?

Thanks!

Well you seem to have plenty of recommendations!

I swear by Hein Gericke kit, but have also used Dainese which has been excellent too.

My advice would be spend as much as you can on the kit, the reason being the cheap stuff isn't breathable and makes you wet with sweat which in turn makes you cold.

Budget £200-250 minimum
